Elemental Magick
-
I need some clarification on using the elemental hierarchy.
I've read many different things from many different sources. In Liber Juratus, we have a set of elemental rulers that are also in Agrippa's magical calendars. In Levi's work there are also elemental kings?
Rulers:
Cherub
Seraph
Tharsis
ArielKings:
Paralda
Djin
Niksa
GhobDo these both refer to the same being? Why would Levi randomly use different names?
To preform a task of a fiery nature, I understand I would conjure the Salamanders and have them approach my circle. Then I would conjure Djin (or Seraph?) and state my request.
Would I conjure the elemental king/ruler INSIDE my circle or outside? Do I bind them to a triangle? If I bind it, would it still matter if I kept it inide or outside my circle? I've seen many grimoires that instruct you to summon an entity outside your circle to be safe. How are you supposed to command what is outside of your circle?
At some point, I would need to retrieve the secret sigil of the ruler/king. I also understand that you could ask the king/ruler for your own personal elemental helpers. Once you have enough rapport with the ruler/king for him to hand over an elemental worker, does this mean you have mastered that particular element?
When doing elemental magick, naturally I am supposed to use the appropriate elemental weapons. Under the A.'.A.'. it seems like instructions for the weapons & their consecration are given during much later grades. Being a probationer, would this effectively exclude me from preforming any elemental magick? The only weapon I have ATM is the pentacle of earth. I consecrated that using a formula in "Circles of Power". Is it perfectly ok to be using magickal weapons of higher grades, so long as I remake &/or re-consecrate with the formula of my given grade as I attain them?
While, we are sorta on the topic - when doing an evocation for the elemental king of water, I would preform the GRP and open water in all four quarters. When tracing the pentagram of water, I would use my chalice correct? Would I still use my Chalice when tracing the active spirit? If not, would I use my fire-wand or my air-dagger? It seems like these two weapons are pretty interchangeable when tracing geometries.
Moving on, when I preform the actual evocation - I hold in my hand the chalice and the pentacle of earth it the other & recite my conjuration. Is this the correct use of the Pentacle? I imagine the Pentacle of earth to represent manifestation, so I figure pretty much ANY kind of magick would be pretty useless if it never manifested right? So holding up the Pentacle in one hand and my chalice in the other, while conjuring the spirit is a correct way to bring it to manifestation correct?
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

No. They are not the same being. Rulers trump Kings.
"To preform a task of a fiery nature, I understand I would conjure the Salamanders and have them approach my circle. Then I would conjure Djin (or Seraph?) and state my request."
I always get by with just talking to Mikhael directly. Invocation is always better than evocation when it does the job.

No. Yo ucan make intermediate implements before you get to the place of making THE implement.
But, personally - and, since you're speaking as a Probationer, I have to emphasize that this is only my personal view - doing evocation as a Probationer is fucking nuts.

LBRP is banishing - at least on some level, and above all it's not dangerous for Probationer because it creates equilibrium of forces and focuses you on aspiration to the K&C of the HGA.
and in MP you are drawning the energy from Kether through the Middle Pillar, so balance is also an essential factor here. when activating Sephirot from 1 to 10 in this practice, you actually consciously do not invoke something considered as a force/principle separate from yourself , you are awakening the inherent aspects of your being. (and this approach can be used of course in every invocation and evocation, but then - would they as such be necessary at all?...)
