I am starting to study Thelema and will be trying to be admitted. I have always had my understandings (since I was a child). I often considered myself a dream master (from childhood) and am very good at tarot even though I still use a book or other sources since I do not have everything memorized as of yet. I was raised as a Member of the LDS (Mormon) and started getting upset at them early in my life when I discovered they did not believe as I understood. I have always believed in reincarnation and having a Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother. I discovered that the church does not believe in reincarnation and subtly believes in a heavenly mother. > I have studied the basic meditation techniques but not the books on Thelema's list. I studied Wicca. I read (but hardly understood) the book the "Golden Dawn" by Israel Regardie. So far, what I have read about Thalema agrees with my understandings and that is all I can say. I will say that the group of Mormons (LDS) no longer has more than one wife (like their offshoots have). I am no longer in a position to defend the church since I am not a member in standing at this point.
I hope I kept this quick and to the point:
I seek that which is light eternal (truth), which has been broken up in pieces between all the religions and beliefs. This has led me to the great truths and an understanding which only Thelema can (or may be able to) surpass. -
