specific questions on the star ruby?
-
Crowley does not give very specific instructions on this ritual. Just to be clear, it seems like Therion is vibrated, Nuit is simply spoken, Babalon is whispered, and Hadit is vibrated? But is "Io Pan" supposed to be vibrated? and are the N.O.X. signs simply just done one after the other with no vibrations or visualiztions to accompany them? And for the evocation part how are the Iynges, Teletarches, Synoches, and Daimons supposed to be visualized? Or is he intentionally being vague here to allow some improv?

I own the version in lon milo's magick of thelema, which is from the book of lies i think, it says to roar therion, say nuit, whisper babalon and bellow hadit. Theres a great video on youtube of a woman performing it www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9AE9f6yQMcAlso there are illustrations of the Iynges, Teletarches, Synoches, and Daimons at thelema.org/home/art_gallery.html

My three part analysis of The Star Ruby was serialized in Black Pearl, which you can download for free from www.thelema.org/publications
I reproduced it here also:

93,
thanks guys both of your posts are a big help, I'm excited to try this new ritual tonight, it seems very powerful already and I really like that it's in ancient Greek since i've found little practical application for studying it outside my studies at college.
