    Hey all. I came up with some ideas that I think could be pretty cool Qabalistic exercises, if you'll bear with me and try them 😀

    1. How would you assign the elements to the four seasons?
      (I think assigning the Gunas would be easier, so I'm not asking that one =p)

    2. How would you place the seasons on the Tree of Life? Obviously, they all are attributable to Malkuth, especially in Assiah, but surely we can talk about the Tree within Malkuth, or perhaps talk about different parts of the seasons that would be placed above the realm of Assiah.
      (I suspect the Paths would make more sense than the Sephiroth, but I don't know enough about them to really attempt this.)

    3. How would you assign the planets/sections of the Zodiac to the seasons (preferably not using the Tree of Life specifically, otherwise questions 2 and 3 are almost the same)?

    Feel free to answer any or none of them, and let's see if we can get a good discussion going!

    I'll start with 1:

    Spring - Air
    Summer - Fire
    Autumn - Water
    Winter - Earth

    I see it as a progression of density (or energy, or temperature; they're all related), although earth --> air is a bit awkward as winter transitions into spring; maybe there is a water subphase in there?

      Just to add something more, a friend of mine came up with this scheme:

      Spring - Fire
      Summer - Air
      Autumn - Earth
      Winter - Water

      Obviously, this is a bit surprising (or at least it is to me). His reasoning was that spring is bursting forth with life and has a palpable energy to it, something creating and driving, and he feels that it is fiery. Summer doesn't have that same kind of drive, so it's air. Autumn is a season of colors and of returning to the earth, hence its association with earth, and winter gets water both by default and because, I suppose, it's stiller and more serene than the other seasons (merging my reasoning with his scheme, as he didn't elaborate very far).

      This attribution list wouldn't be my first choice, but it is the only list I've seen so far which has summer and fire separated, so I thought it was worth mentioning.

        Spring=Air Hot and Moist = Aquarius = Tipereth(LBRP)= Yesod(elemental)
        Summer=Fire Hot and Dry = Leo=Netzach(LBRP) = Netzach(elemental)
        Fall=Water Cold and Moist = Scorpio=Yesod(LBRP) = Hod(elemmental)
        Winter=Earth Cold and Dry = Taurus=Hod(LBRP) = Malkuth(elemental)
