"That's my favorite aspect of the Holy Books, and particularly Libri LXV and CDXVIII, the fact that you can constantly gain deeper insights into them (not to mention of course, the BOTL) "
Yea . Me too
There is no law beyond Do what thou wilt.

Actually, I've written a son (not finished yet) for acoustic guitar using the poem in verse 1 of Ch.I of Liber LXV as lyrics. If I get to recording it I'll have to share a link

i am stunned by chapter 3. It explains the H.O.O.R. "heart-shield". It was right in front of my face and I didnt even realize it for 18 years. It Shows me what happens when you neglect a Holy Book.
"
- I follow Thee, and the waters of Death fight strenuously against me. I pass unto the Waters beyond Death and beyond Life.
- How shall I answer the foolish man? In no way shall he come to the Identity of Thee!
- But I am the Fool that heedeth not the Play of the Magician. Me doth the Woman of the Mysteries instruct in vain; I have burst the bonds of Love and of Power and of Worship.
- Therefore is the Eagle made one with the Man, and the gallows of infamy dance with the fruit of the just.
--Liber LXV; CH3

I am shocked by this verse. It describes something I didn't think could be described with words.
There is no law beyond Do what thou wilt.

Notice the similarity in the imagery?
"
24 Arise, O serpent Apep, Thou art Adonai the beloved one! Thou art my darling and my lord, and Thy poison is sweeter than the kisses of Isis the mother of the Gods!
25 For Thou art He! Yea, Thou shalt swallow up Asi and Asar, and the children of Ptah. Thou shalt pour forth a flood of poison to destroy the works of the Magician. Only the Destroyer shall devour Thee; Thou shalt blacken his throat, wherein his spirit abideth. Ah, serpent Apep, but I love Thee!
26 My God! Let Thy secret fang pierce to the marrow of the little secret bone that I have kept against the Day of Vengeance of Hoor-Ra. Let Kheph-Ra sound his sharded drone! let the jackals of Day and Night howl in the wilderness of Time! let the Towers of the Universe totter, and the guardians hasten away! For my Lord hath revealed Himself as a mighty serpent, and my heart is the blood of His body.

ā70. I am the Hawk-Headed Lord of Silence & of Strength;
my nemyss shrouds the night-blue sky.- Hail! ye twin warriors about the pillars of the world! for
your time is nigh at hand. - I am the lord of the Double Wand of Power; the wand
of the Force of Coph Nia--but my left hand is empty,
for I have crushed an Universe & nought remains.

Something to ponder:
RaHoorKhuit is the HGA of the planet. Therefore some aspect of this energy must be hidden within my HGA like dna.
There is no law beyond Do what thou wilt.

Just out of interest.
watching this thread has been like watching the processes of alchemy; when you started the thread you were worrying about your distaste for Liber Lxv, and a couple of days later you have completely overcome that and are more or less gushing about it; I think your distaste and worry definitely constituted the "thick darkness" that is the condition of new growth. There is a light so strenuous that it is not perceived as light.
Wolf's bane is not so sharp as steel; yet it pierceth the body more subtly.
Even as evil kisses corrupt the blood, so do my words devour the spirit of man.
I breathe, and there is infinite dis-ease in the spirit.
As an acid eats into steel, as a cancer that utterly corrupts the body; so am I unto the spirit of man.
I shall not rest until I have dissolved it all.93 93/93

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
-
The fool readeth this Book of the Law, and its comment; & he understandeth it not.
-
Let him come through the first ordeal, & it will be to him as silver.
-
Through the second, gold.
-
Through the third, stones of precious water.
-
Through the fourth, ultimate sparks of the intimate fire.
I believe this holds true for other Holy books as well
Love is the law, love under will.
