    Just a quick question:

When I write there is a state where I will "zone out" the background and be totally immersed in my project. I will write for 4 hours and it will seem like 1/2 hour to an hour. I dont mean "automatic " writing.

Could you call this experience a Union of FORM(the written word) and FORCE(the concept in your imagination/intellect)?

Also how many others have this experience when they create art? I would bet almost- if not all -of us:)

Hmm...I'd say the Force is the urge to create the piece of work itself. The Form would be the concept and the written word.

I have definately felt it when writing, but more often I feel it when drawing or writing/improvising on the guitar. "In the zone" so to speak I have next to no concept of time and creativity just flows. The best licks and riffs I have ever come up with have seemingly created themselves in this state, when my "trying" mind was taking a break and letting my "no mindedness" do all the work. This state is something I am trying to cultivate because it aids me in nearly all of my pursuits. In the martial arts it is refered to as Mushin.

I do "art" for a living (more like creative problem solving these days, as I'm 90% a web designer now) and I would have to say that my whole life I have become used to and very reliant on the becoming one aspect of creation. If it's not happening, art can't happen. In my current situation, I actually find it exhausting and thus I have no real ability to tap into "the zone" after hours for real creative work. I need a change, but Obama didn't come through for me yet. Any career change seems drastic and unnecessary at this point when so many people are just lucky to be working.

I find that if I am not in that zone, then I am self-conscious just enough that I can't work. I mean, stupid self-consciousness like "I can't seem to do this, have I lost my touch or what little I had left?" Pretty much have to forget you even exist to get in that zone which is why web design, for me, is exhausting. The coding part of web design keeps taking me back out of the zone to check things all scientific-like and then I have to switch back into emotional aesthetics monkey mode and I spend a lot of time switching back and forth from right to left brain and kind of get lost in a fog state at times. I often find I'm just staring blankly at my Facebook page wondering how the hell I got there and then I remember "oh yeah, had to take a break."

I took an Into PROG class on Javascript in college. I loved it:) I would get the same feeling I get when I am doing Algebre and Geomatry......šŸ˜„

But it was an easy language to learn.....like Q basic šŸ˜†
