What exactly IS the deal with all that Satan My Lord stuff in Liber Samekh? Like I know the standard line on these being solar symbols, but it's a bit odd to be performing a ritual which purports to be summoning higher forces but reads like a ritual to sell your soul to the devil! 😡

I've always liked that deconstruction of the name to mean: Truth and Bliss.
As if Satan were a contraction of the Sanskrit terms Sat and Ananda.

    O living lord of me
    O self shining flame
    Begotten of beyond
    ...and on and on

    Love and Will

Considering the fact that the Devil card is one of the paths to Tiphareth, does it really seem all that inappropriate for Crowley to have used the symbolism in a ritual designed to attain to Tiphareth?

Sounds to me like you're including the English analysis as part of the ritual. That part isn't recited. It's just commentary.
