Self-discipline: Mars or Saturn?

As the title suggests, I have a few questions: is the concept of self-discipline, particularly through restraint and rejection of distracting temptations, more of a Mars or a Saturn idea? (The word "restrain" leads me to Saturn, but I'm not certain.)
If it is more of a Saturn idea - does Mars play into it at all?
Finally, could Neptune be seen to be the antithesis of this discipline and self-restraint?

Control, including discipline, is primarily a Saturn idea.
But Mars as what you might call a natural military discipline - ALL the characteristics of a warrior, including the discipline.
Yes, Neptune, in many respects, is the best example of antithesis to all of this; but, then, so is Jupiter in the sense of leisure.
PS - What isn't clear to me is... why Mysticism?

As far as the choice of subforum... Maybe it was a mistake. I was thinking of these questions in relation to my own personality traits and the deeper involvement they've been having in my path, sort of like what was going on in the Four Worlds topic on this subforum.
