Is anyone familiar with the writings of Henri Durville? They do not seem to have been translated into English, if I am not mistaken

I have his books in my shelf (in Portuguese). Been a while since I’ve read him. He is not magnificent but I’ve enjoyed his books. Like most French occultists of his time, most interesting things were kept in secret.

If you do not mind, may I ask the reason for such curiosity?

I have come across one of his books in Italian, Techniques of Magical Defense, but it's really expensive and I was wondering if it was worth buying

Strange, I do not recognise this book. Well, in general I would not spend much money with his books.

Yes, there are a few that I did not recognise either. Some of them were co-authored with Julien Ernest Houssay, and they are about exorcisms, psychic self defence and rituals involving saints and psalms. There are the ones translated into Italian. But if, as you say, most of things are not revealed, it's probably not worth buying them for such a high price.
