As i have just found out, one is not necessarily initiated into Thelema but i assume into an order such as the O.T.O. or possibly the A.'.A.'.

Generally. Though that would be a matter to discuss with the principals of the Orders in question.

Yes, under certain circumstances. You do need to be able to travel to a Temple location periodically. (All are currently in North America.)
