Hi! My name is Sara and I live in Sweden. I´m new to Thelema and feel happy to have this in my life now and look forward to many years of further practice and study. The Book of Law is growing on me and I can feel that there is so much power in that book.

I have a question that I have been thinking about. Sometimes when I do something in my `everyday life´, I can perceive this great beauty of life (I guess that´s how I could describe it, even though it´hard to describe). It can for instance happen when I am involved in artistic creation (I make jewelry among other things) or when I go to certain art exhibitions. I can perceive that it´s some sort of purity to these experieces. Thoughts and feelings about personal gain, competition etc are not there at all in that very moment. Could that be an indication that True Will is involved here?

In my life I would so much like to get away from want´ as much as possible and instead focus on Will´. Last year I quit working in a certain job sector because there is so much competition there and you are very much judged by your title-something I got caught up into too. I quit very much because I don´t want to be part of that anymore- it makes me unhappy to "want" in that way. In my future I would like to live so much as possible according to my Will- instead of from "want".

Sara, It sounds as if you are sensitive enough to realize what comes natural to you, what makes you feel right with.
Having said that, finding the 'true will' is done through serious introspection and circumspection, regular ceremonial magick, meditation and study.

There are many occasions in life when you feel uncomfortable and this is due to a particular weakness within you. There are also many when you are uncomfortable for a perfectly good reason. I too feel uncomfortable in circumstances described by you- and i feel many self respecting people would.
Remember that similar mentalities attract and so if you are surrounded by dipsticks- it is flattering you felt uncomfortable.

Main point is- WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FORM THIS EXPERIENCE?

Thank you so much for taking the time to write. I really appreciate it so much! What all of you write I find truly inspiring. I will read your answers I few more times now 😄

And yes, that life is pure joy, isn´t that wonderful. That focus on joy is something that is so beautiful about Thelema.

Good for you Sara! I'm also new to Thelema and I have found this to be beautiful knowledge amongst all of the religions and studies I've looked into in the past.

I was wondering, how did you transition from being a part of the rat race of the corporate world into a career that you truly want? And I'm curious how you stumbled upon Thelema?

    Hi Iris!

Last year I was lucky to get a new friend who has been into Thelema for many years. So it was he who introduced me to Thelema. When he told me about Thelema I thought it made so much sense for me. I´m now in the process of joining the O.T.O

Actually, the career that I didn´t like at all was in the culture sector- in museums. The world of culture is often very competetive where your title is of vital importance. I am so much happier now, when I just work in a small shop and have other focus in life 😄

And your Iris, how did you find your way to Thelema?
