Boy stabs grandma cause said Archangel told him to
-
In Western Pennsylvania this week 26 year old Levi Daniel Staver was charged with criminal homicide in stabbing death of his 76 year old grandmother.
Police say she and her husband , a retired minister were sitting at the kitchen table when staver came up from basement and stabbed her. He told police the Archangel Michael told him to "kill the witch" in court documents, mr Staver told police the direction was not verbal, but if the Archangel wants me to do something I do it
The police asked him if he was employed , and he said yes , by the Angelic Army under direction of the Archangel Michael.
My question is I'd like to read the Grimoire Goetia and other grimoires but is there any danger in this? Ok thanx

Well, this is an example of probable religious repression manifesting through violence, and has little to do with Magick, of which the Goetia is a certain branch.
There is no danger in reading the Goetia other than danger you might create yourself. It is not something to meddle with if you are prone to delusions and such. Before you advance in works of evocation it is best to master the basic Banishing rituals. These being mastered, there is nothing to fear but fear itself.

The danger is in you.
This is in the wrong section, BTW: nothing to do with Thelema.

There you have it.
I might add: beware of attributing objective validity to the spirits or angels! You might be vigorously debated on that point by certain members of the forum.

Mephisto, I like how u put ure words together like that it was very smart and helpful. I'll think about what u said. Wrong section? Where should I have asked it?

"Wrong section? Where should I have asked it?"
"Magick".

Oh, sorry

No need to apologize to me. Just trying to help.

Thank you

I would definitely stay away from the Goetia.
They suffer enough as it is. -
Another case for a better public mental health program
