Hello all,
I just wanted to take a moment to say hello and thank you for letting me join your forum. I posted something a few days ago which is what prompted me to join...putting my 2 cents in on goetic magick, hopefully perceived as coming from a friendly direction.
I've not studied Thelemic magick, although some of my friends do. I primarily work with the entities from the Goetia for quite some time now and really love what I do with them.
Magick is my life - it is woven in throughout my daily activities even at work...I'm here for the long haul...

What do you do with them?
-
Well, I'm very close with the ones I work with daily. I consider it to be a bit too personal to discuss the exact details, mostly out of respect to them.
Sometimes it's just simple conversations and advice, sometimes a lot more than that. They've been with me through some major family changes, as well as helping me through my own changes. They've assisted with health issues, medical operations on friends, love and relationships. Money, employment... Travelling to other worlds... learning new magicks...
I think the more appropriate question to ask is what have I not yet called upon the friendly entities of the goetia to assist with in my or my friend/family's life.
How about you? Is there anything about goetic daemons you were happy about and would care to share?

My favourite class of entity are those Gods that once were men, because they don't require the feeding and sustenance of 'belief' that other critters do... and they're just... more* interesting.* In that sense - for healing - I like working with Imhotep - the only God in the Egyptian pantheon that started off his career as an actual man. He doesn't degrade like other classes of being would if they didn't get any attention for a thousand years. Nor does his essence or form change just because millions of people watched 'The Mummy' film. He's incorruptible, old and wise, and his mind is so alien that I find him highly intriguing... but he's also very kind and a fantastic healer. I count people/gods like that as my friends. "Interesting Dara.
What is your take on the Masters of Wisdom (as they are called)?
Helena B. and Alice B (Master Therion said she was 8=3) seemed to have had genuine interest in them. -

I think both women were gifted with a questing intelligence that led them to investigate the nature of all sorts of things - and I also think they knew the difference between what used to be called 'low magick' and 'high magick'."OK, tnx.
I tend to agree.Let me repeat, if I may:
What is your take on the Masters of Wisdom (as they are called)? -

Can you be a little more specific please? Thanks."I can try
Masters of Wisdom are said to be, well, Masters.
And seeing you share your preference to men-Gods, I immediately thought of Masters as they have all been humans before they attained liberation/immortality etc...Alice's Master helped a lot, it seems, both healing and instructing her.
Hows that?
Tnx for your time.

"Hmmm....
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
I wonder if there's enough of you young magicians feeding these Goetic creatures their form that their natures have actually changed?
Dara Allarah
Love is the Law
Love under Will "Hmmmm... I wouldn't mistake 'new to your forum' as 'new to magick'. You've no idea how many decades I've been immersed in magick from what little I've shared so far. Mind you, you seem to be clinging to the concept these are lowly demons that need your rescuing, pity, or perhaps help in some sort. I'm obviously clicking onto the wrong forum. How many people here have actually talked with the entities of the Goetia and learned what the Deity aspect is? Or does everyone cling to what the keys of Solomon wrote about damn near everything riding an infernal beast and breathing volumes of poisonous gas..? Like I said, something caught my eye and I decided to put my 2 cents in for someone. You guys don't need my input obviously... Without knowing anything about me you assume I'm a noob. I've only shown you 1 aspect of my experience - Goetia. I've not imparted anything else and yet I've been accused of fabricating things into my evocation. golf claps.
I'll be ignoring this account now. I've no interest in sharing information with those of you that are coff 'too experienced' to listen.

Get over it, GP. C'mon.
Dar is sharp only on the outside.
She does have a point, though (not regarding you specifically, but in general).I am looking forward to reading your posts, especially on the Goetic spirits / deity relation. Just post it in appropriate board, pls.

What do you think?"
Thinking is overrated LOL
My experience with Alice is non-existent, I do love her book on the Glamor, though.
(Glamour âA World Problem by Alice A. Bailey) - lots of astral delusional glamor present in
our orders, IMHO.I do have limited experience with one of the aforementioned masters, Maitreya.
He did show rather deep insight into the matter of helping the goofs / total beginners,
as I recall.Thats it.
Tnx for the exchange.
I love your posts, BTW
(it doesn't mean we are engaged or anything)
LOL
