When Stars Collide
-
Every man and every woman is a star
What happens when stars collide with each other?
-
All sorts of things. Great sex, for example - or they just piss each other off massively - or one (or both) knocks the other out of its proper path. Etc.

This begs the question of star vs not star (or a mentsrum that stars travel and collide in). Crowley himself seemed to, if not wrestle, find the paradox perfectly ok (supernal stuff) that there is both Stars, distinct and in stuff, and a homogeneous light...
My way of asking the question - what do you mean by collide? I get the imagery loud and clear, but what do you MEAN?
"The next stage of this vision led to an identification of the blazing points with the stars of the firmament, with ideas, souls, etc. I perceived also that each star was connected by a ray of light with each other star. In the world of ideas each thought possessed a necessary relation with each other thought; each such relation is of course a thought in itself; each such ray is itself a star. It is here that the logical difficulty first presents itself. The seer has a direct perception of infinite series. Logically, therefore, it would appear as if the entire space must be filled up with a homogeneous blaze of light. This however is not the case. The space is completely full and yet the monads which fill it are perfectly distinct. The ordinary reader might well exclaim that such statements exhibit symptoms of mental confusion."

93,
Lots of light and heat usually - it's really quite a spectacle.
More seriously, though, Crowley said in several places that if everyone did their True Wills there would be no collision. While I think this may be true from a certain perspective where everything that occurs is lawful & perfect, it is also a natural fact of existence that it is full of conflict and collision. What happens when stars collide is however they choose to react, really, whether it be love or fighting... and we can't judge from the outside because we can never truly determine another's True Will.

As long as we are apart of current states of reality. People and the their individual wills will inevitably clash. We are so far away from the concept of living in a world without such collisions. If we lived in a world without clashing then pretty much all the individual paradigms views of what is right or wrong, or acceptable socially or privately must eventually be absorbed by those who are not seeking to do their own will but by those who have issues with the will of others. The enemies of allowing will to reign are those brought on by the religions of our world.that practice a set standard of dillusional set of morals that are representatives of the paradigms of their individual religions.
And because.of these 'morals' the followers of these paradigms are ohligated to morally cleanse the world from.those of.us that would allow such free wills to.exsist.without clashing....
