Ethics on helping people getting closer to their will
-
Hello brothers and sisters,
I might work soon as a psychoanalyst and coach. If i do so, i will offer best value for price service, as i think most professionals in that field are thieves... Also i paid almost nothing for my own analysis, with two lacanians(Lacan was the best in my opinion). Lacan said himself he felt ashamed asking money for this(even if he asked a lot sometimes, to point out how dumb people are... he asked once 500 euros-700 bucks?- for 5 minutes, and the woman gave it ... the best part is it's the womans own testimony, and just like kate perry, "she liked it"... it reminds me of how Crowley made fun of people dumbness sometimes, by acts not by words )
I consider using some techniques to help people better than with academic techniques only. Of course those would be for free. I think about basic element, breathing, and aura working. That's very simple and effective in my opinion. No ethical issue there.
Now, what is less simple ethically, but could be way more effective, would be incorporating also some magick. The first issue i see is, to what extent could i explain what i'm doing. And, could i do stuff on people without mentioning it? I actually think about working with three very specific powers, or subtle beings, in a way similar to reiki. A yin, a yang, and a neutral one, like nuit-hadit-ra hoor khuit, but on less subtle planes(for two of them). The thing is those powers, which i know and work with personnally for about a year with great success on myself, dont want me to talk about them. Everytime i did not respect this, it brought me problems, and i had to struggle in order to regain their confidence and friendliness. But they are OK with the possibility of "using" them onto other people, as long as i dont talk openly about them.
Ideally, i'd like to draw sigils on people, and vibrate the names of the beings. I'm sure that would shake off peoples realities and bring fast results. It could help them get in touch with their will. I see no problem for the sigils, as i can draw them astrally with my hand. People will not be able to memorise them. But what could i do with the names? If i vibrate them, they will remember, and will ask questions. Now, i have an idea. Those beings actually gave me a word of power. I could invoke them silently before working, and only vibrate the words of power.
Then, the question rising is, couldnt this mess up with the true will of people? Because the beings, obviously, have contacted me specifically(at least two of them). I dont know if it's a good idea using their power onto other people. At least concerning one of them(the yin one). This one is also the only one i manage to evoke with physical manifestation and visibility. It's hardcore. Only the neutral one is safe for sure. The yang one is theorically safe. On the other hand, i guess, the true will should protect anyone from anything going against it. So if it's not meant to have an effect on someone, it just wont work, right?
Also, i consider reciting sourate Al Ikhlas to people, as i'm getting good enough at it and it has strong effects. The only problem i see there is the bad name of Islam to the profane. Many would think i'm totally crazy or that the next step of the therapy is slaughtering them shouting "allahu akbar". Well, i do carry a knife, and that would solve any psychological problem for sure but we dont aim such efficiency do we? Maybe i should try this one(al ikhlas, not the knife part) only after serious screening.
What do you think? Any suggestion?
Thanks

I think the best you can do is - slowly, gradually - teach people that they can themselves come in touch with the Power/Powers of the Universe if they Will so
Edit:
meaning - you just show them the door (so that they can perceive/acknowledge/recognize that there is a door), not push them through it -
There are some psychological practices that are almost undistinguishable from magick. Active imagination, pathworking, Guided Affective Imagery, just to name a few.
In my perspective Jung is the best βmiddle groundβ between magick and psychology, Assagiolis psychosynthesis seems like the best approach to help people attain a better understanding of their True Will (of course you do not need to call it True Will).
As for specifically magical operations, I believe that they are better done inside a temple by someone with a good experience under his belt. Things can get nasty not only to the patient but to the doctor as well. Peopleβs health is not something you want to experiment with.

Thanks guys...
It makes sense. I should be careful and avoid getting overwelmed by my own stuff.
Actually i think Freud, Jung, Reich, Lacan, and Ferenczi all bring something special and useful. I feel their respective approaches also corresponds to the 5 elements on a psychological plane. I'd like to articulate techniques from all those 5 into a coherent system.
Basically i feel Lacan is way ahead of everyone philosophically. The guy is a beast. I wouldnt be surprised to learn he studied Crowley... He brings a great overall picture witch matches well with the esoteric one, and with thelemic ethics. Jung also does that, but with a more simple, practical and active way.
What strikes me with Ferenczi is the "mutual analysis". The only danger there, and it's a great one, is being too active, and suggesting stuff instead of helping people to do their own work...
By the idea of using magick, i was thinking in a Ferenczi way actually. I mean, as a way also to screen the psyche by studying the reactions to these forces which i know well. Having the kabbalistic correspondences and knowing how the forces react with me according to how i use them, it could have be a good way to feel whats going on. But it's certainly dangerous and brings us out of the frame of psychoanalysis.
Maybe should i just replace this 3 way magick idea with simple meditation on active, neutral, and passive ether. That way it would stay neutral ethically and it would complement well the basic breathing and elements meditations. Also it would still have the yin, yang, and neutral working, which i thought was the most useful aspect of it in that frame.
I'll look at what is psychosynthesis. Thanks

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
At first, this seemed kinda hokey. But in the end, I thought it commendable that you've named and in a tangible way for yourself accessed yin/yang/neutral energies or intelligences. One might say this strikes at the heart of something all psychoanalysts and healers, and perhaps all of us in general, seek in their individual ways to attain.
I think you can fairly draw sigals and speak words of power to your heart's content, and it would be best for all involved if it's a loving heart you are contenting. Still, I'm not sure this kind of magick would be superior in any way to the other techniques mentioned here, or that it would be any better than traditional talk therapy. Frankly, I doubt it would be.
But so what. If this stuff amps up your effectiveness, then I say go for it. If working with subtle beings makes you better at your job, then why not use them? I think we have the right to be as powerful as we know how to be, and bear no obligation to anyone to hold ourselves back.
Plus it sounds kind of fun.
I place this one squarely in the "Do what thou wilt," camp. If your patients don't like your methods or their effects, they can leave.
Every man and every woman is a star.
Love is the law, love under will.

The most important thing to keep in mind, as I see it :
Their Will is THEIR WILL - a thing unknowable directly by youGenerally speaking:
I do not perform 'magick' on people who are unaware
I all ways allow them to make the decision, even if it is bad -
As that is merely my projection, may be great for them -
Or better yet what is absolutely necessary for their growth -

Are you thinking of Seminar VII and that the "Do not give way on your desire" idea is related to the Will? They also have confusing people with non-standard use of the term "phallus" in common...
