Visions of the tree
-
Have you see in visions the tree of life in some kind of special way you could tell...
You know, those kind of "alive" visions where deep insights are unveiled. For instance two things which impressed me was visions of fixing the volatile with the sun, or the stars dancing together onto Nuit... Anything like that or whatever impressed you involving the tree of life?
By "tree of life" i mean as a whole, not "rising on the planes" or specific sephiroths... i mean having a spiritual experience involving the whole tree as a whole and how/what insights it brought.

A few weeks ago,
When I was doing some extra deep thinking,I awoke early in the morning and went to the bathroom. I have a tiny little window in this second story loo. In the spring the flycatchers raise babies in the eave right there. This morning though when I walked by the window I saw that a huge beautiful orb weaver had carefully constructed it's web on the outside of this window, and was waiting, right in the center of it's web.
This in of itself was stirring and really touched my heart. I have been working on reconstructing my life, now as a working single mom, and the day to day trials and maintenance have been hard for me to cope with on my own. Yet I always seem to be able to brush the negative crap off, pull up my girl panties, put a smile on, get over it and get on with what else needs to be done.
I have always had a strong resonance with Spider and it's teachings. I have a stellium in Scorpio as well so that when Spider shows up, I pay attention.
Yet this image of Spider and the web, in my bathroom mirror was even more striking because if you slightly shifted the focus of your eyes off of the web, you would have a perfect view of GreatGrandFather Oak. This Oak tree is immense, beyond immense. It's branches reach, and reach wide and high up to the sky. It always gives me great comfort to be so close.
So as I looked, first at Spider with it's elaborate web then beyond to Oak with it's far reaching branches I was filled with a deep sence of peace and happiness. To see them both super imposed, layered together was like four worlds being one, my world, Spider, Oak and the Heavens beyond. Nit was very uniting.
Over the next few days Spider worked it's web, and Oak blew in the breeze an I enjoyed my peace. After a while a strange thing happened. I got up in morning an went to the loo, and Spider had shrunk! It was half of what it was, yet I know it had been feeding. I was stupidly shocked for moment, and looked closer. It wasn't the same Spider, this was Her Mate. She was up in the eaves with a mass of eggs.
My vision of the Tree is real, it wasn't a dream or an induced train of thought, or a perceived internal spiritual event. My vision of the Tree of Life is not like anything found in a book, or with study or thought, it is natural and normal and came about because I am apart of the Tree, not a part.

Reminded me of an image, once experienced, of the Spiders web stretching out as the Tree of Life.
A more recent interpretation, was a viewing of the Tree/Web as scaffolding.
Along the lines of "do not mistake the map for the territory."
The Tree/Web being the edifice from which one builds their Temple.
BUT, it is not the Temple. -

BUT, it is not the Temple."Yeah, the map's all flat and laid out two-dimensionally...
You know, String Theory says that, ultimately, particles are "strings" of energy vibrating in 10 (not 9) dimensions of "space" and 1 dimension of time (10 not 11).
So, that image of one energetic thing vibrating along 10 and 1 dimensions sometimes helps me imagine something of what the reality may be more like as opposed to the map that's all spread out.

It could be a two dimensional projection of a three dimensional object.

I have only read a single book on String Theory, intended for lay persons.
Time, being the 11th, Da'ath if you will, a false dimension.
Brought about by the arrangement of thought and experience instead of having a "real" existence.
