True Greater Ritual of the Pentagram
-
Question: Should you have both the Greater Ritual of the Pentagram & the True Greater ritual of the Pentagram Invoked at the same time or only one at a time. I'm thinking that the GRP brings you from 10 to 6. & the TGRP brings you from 6 to 1. So technically it would be a good idea to have done both invocations to give you the whole metaphorical ladder.
Question 2: How come there is no "true greater ritual of the hexagram"?

Crowley never did anything with the "true" ritual. He wrote it on a train through India, and that's the last we ever see of it.
You can do it, of course... but it would be a misinterpretation to think it's part of a curriculum, or of anything one "should" do.

Are you sure?
What do you think about the references notes from this link: www.themagicalmandarin.com/page30.htm
"In Shanghai, on 14 April 1906, Crowley records in his diary:
The Operation of Abramelin being due to commence on Easter Sunday, methinks it would well to make a certain profound conjuration of A with a view to acquiring a proper knowledge of the G. R.
G.R. occurs several times in the diary of the period and, contextually, would appear to indicate ‘Great Ritual’. The True Greater Ritual of the Pentagram certainly represents the culmination of Crowley’s spiritual experiences in China and the Shanghai Working. "

I'm not going to stop and read the notes. (No time. I skimmed that quickly and didn't see anything hinting he ever did anything further with it.) I took a glance and, yes, that's the original. And yes, I'm sure he never incorporated it into any curriculum.
