2014 Tarot Project

93 everyone!
2014 is fast approaching and all that's on my mind is bringing the tarot project back.
The first run went well but there hasn't been much activity in that thread since the project ended and I don't know what Jim has in store for the new year but it would be a shame to have this portion of the Forum removed because we're not doing anything with it.
What I personally think would be a lot of fun is to have a bunch of us breathe some life back into the project and take it for a second run. It'll be an awesome contribution to the growing community that we have here and who knows. Maybe you'll be inspired to take on accomplishing something else that's important to you out of your participation in the project.

I suggest you skip a second day to start out - so that you move the skip day to Saturday. That will serve most people best, I think.

It's about getting your results from meditation, not about your "studying up." Sure, ask questions - but maybe wait for day three (unless there's some reason it's more pressing). That's my suggestion because, once you get people started on intellectual exchange, it's hard to keep the tone on actual meditative realization or experience.
Besides, its better to get your answers from the cards themselves in meditation than to get them from someone else

Gotcha; that makes perfect sense. I'll keep the focus on my personal experiences and use references sparingly if at all.

I have enjoyed seeing the different "sharing styles " This mediation has brought out. I deliberately did not read through others responses until I had posted my own. it was empowering for me to read how others had articulated some of the same ideas that had arisen during my own work, but I had not formed fully into ideas to share here.
I do believe we are breaking till Sunday, two cards a week Then out.
( except this week. Which is sort of like a non week anyway, with storms, vacations, getting the work groove back on....putting away holiday ect ect...very appropriate for the Fool )It's nice to see so many active participants sharing in this Book. I hope that there are readers of the forum who are also participating but not inclined or able to share yet and maybe eventually will find a voice. ( I know who you are
)I have always struggled with the Tarot, I've very good at intuiting the cards but it is hard, sort of like I'm unconfidently groping around in an attic. This time, this effort, I'm trying something completely new... (if what your doing doesn't work, try something new.). I'm feeling very confident about this new method, as I already have a different relationship to the Fool card then I ever have had.
