I've been doing a ton of interesting research on Ketoret and the supposed
dangers of it's use. I was wondering if anyone here was familiar with any modern
interpretations. I was researching and found Crowley mentions something similar to
Ketoret in confessions as being dangerous, it essentially reflects the four worlds as YHVH
and the elements there of, albeit blindly (which is what makes it dangerous). Thoughts? -

Eisenman posits (believably, IMO) that it was the outsider high priest James (Iacob) burning ketoret in the Temple on Yom Kippur that got him thrown down the steps by the mainstream priests, broke his head, and fomented the schism in Judaism that eventually manifested in the global plague of Christianity (
).So, in that sense... yes, I'd say ketoret is some pretty dangerous mojo.
