Hexagram and astrology
-
Hi,
As I understand it, the Hexagram ritual is used to invoke planetary energy for use.
In ourselves we may experience imbalances of power where one planet may be blocked or in opposition. And in these situations we can use the hexagram ritual to invoke the opposite force to create balance - i.e. invoke Netzach if Hod is imbalanced.
Presumably we should be able to use astrology to determine what forces are at work on us at any time and we could then invoke the necessary power to create balance.
If so, looking at the attached chart, how am I to interrupt what is out of balance? The top row? The first column? Or something else?
Thank you.

Your Sun is in the constellation Gemini and the Moon in Capricorn.
You are extremely strong in the benefics: Uranus is 0°16' from Westpoint, Jupiter 3° below Ascendant, Venus 1°+ east of IC. These are all very strong. Pluto (though appearing much lower in the chart) is actually on 3°+ below Descendant. These are the four strongest planets.
Sun in Gemini, only 3°+ from Mercury, makes the Mercury quality quite pronounced. Capricorn Moon gives a Saturn and Mars quality to the chart.
All in all, this only Sun and Moon. Sun is especially week, in the immediate background of the chart. Moon is less weak, being middleground, but would be your second weakest planet.

Thank you Jim for your reply. I am still very new to this and trying to understand what it all means and how to apply that knowledge practically. This is helpful for me to see how the chart can be interrupted. In so far as my question to the hexagram ritual is concerned. Is correct to assume that one can use this chart to determine which planetary power to invoke to create balance? And if so, which column/row should one look at to determine this? Thank you.

Basically, yes
