Open Class detailing evocation? The circle and closing.
-
I know this is probably asking quite a bit but I'm curious if this is ever done.
When I think of what I have learned about the potency of evocation and it's dangers
it seems just following instructions from a text although adequate may be a slippery slope.
Like anything hands on, it's always completely different. While I managed to craft and acquire
most of the traditional Solomonic items, it suits no use if a mistake is made. I have performed
evocation successfully but I used Styrax for Tiriel and also had a female assistant within the circle.
But the truth is the manifestation was made in several ways (Most and Firstly smell) as well as shapes in
the censer smoke. Still, I know I can do better but I had an issue as far as breaching the circle once the operation is closed. I mean, what is the best way to handle the circle and to be sure it's safe to wrap it up.
I would love to see it and learn it from someone who has experience. -

I would love to see it and learn it from someone who has experience."I suspect you know the general rules but, just in case, I'll repeat them: Give license to depart. Then banish well. Pause a bit and use your astral senses to check for efficacy of the banishing, and be alert for anything unusual in yourself before leaving.
Also, for any significant operation, I tend to do the full journal record before leaving the space. I have better retention of the details and am able to make connections and have better insights while still proximate to the state of the operation. The time it takes to make a thorough record of the operation may serve you (given your question) by giving more time for things to "quiet down," yourself to center and move back into a normal state, etc.
