**4. Therefore thou writest that which is of mother of emerald, and of lapis-lazuli, and of turquoise, and of alexandrite.
    5. Another writeth the words of topaz, and of deep amethyst, and of gray sapphire, and of deep sapphire with a tinge as of blood.
    6. Therefore do ye fret yourselves because of this.

FYI... important to keep track of this sort of thing all the way through Liber LXV in my opinion - this is still Adonai speaking to V.V.V.V.V., i.e., Chiah to Neshamah.

But "Therefore do ye fret yourselves because of this." Ye? It seems as if Adonai or (more beautifully) V.V.V.V.V. in the name of Adonai is temporalily speaking to "the people." V.V.V.V.V. receives the word of His Beloved, understands it, "turns around" and speaks it to the world.

It seems to me that the "ye" is V.V.V.V.V. (the "thou" in v. 4) and the "Another" (or others) of v. 5. "Therefore, all y'all fret yourselves..."

To fret seems uncharacteristic of Neshamah. Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way.

What I get from verses 4-5 is a little bit of a continuance of the previous verses. The colors are many and the light is One. Manifestation displays itself in these different aspects of existence and it is also a manner of perception.

Looking up "fret" there is a secondary meaning which is "to gradually wear away by rubbing or gnawing". Thinking of this aspect of consciousness as Binah and the grail which is filled by Chiah it comes to mind that in order to be filled with the pure force of Chiah the grail must be emptied (the initiate of Binah is Nemo "No Man"). By placing attention on the different aspects of existence we may be able to gradually make these parts of ourselves "...wear away". By the understanding that every thing we witness is sourced in the One Light we can unite with it so that we integrate it into our consciousness.

That is where my ideas led me and in the sense of being balanced and integrated it seems inline with a Tifereth verse, but I've just been playing a bit with the ideas.
