May 30 (Air) Liber LXV, Cap II, v. 45-47

**45. Then the adept was rapt away in bliss, and the beyond of bliss, and exceeded the excess of excess.
46. Also his body shook and staggered with the burden of that bliss and that excess and that ultimate nameless.
47. They cried He is drunk or He is mad or He is in pain or He is about to die; and he heard them not.

The adept, in witnessing and living this, reaches a high state of bliss which is detailed in the verses. It is the ultimate excess as our consciousness, even in the highest expressions I can fathom, is still limited. When the limitless meets the limited on the plane here detailed there can only be this expression. The cup (Neshamah) overflowing, the force (Chiah) penetrating deeply, and the body being unable to process it all without shaking and staggering. This intoxication of the innermost appears in different outer forms and the body may be out of whack and even seemingly in dire straits, but the higher consciousness of the Adept (Neshamah here I believe) is oblivious to this as it remains in a more rarified space.
