The passion in Invocation.

I'm not exactly sure what you think you are looking for in a myth. I mean, I know there are existing myths of the gods and goddesses of other cultures (which helped shape ours, and are easily relatable), and there are many "choir of angels" stories in the old testament and Revelation of John you could source if you want to. Or just look at some of these wonderful images and contemplate sound and vibration and color (the vibe man, it's all in the vibe) www.google.com/search?newwindow=1&safe=off&biw=1236&bih=594&tbm=isch&q=heavenly+angel+choir&revid=1347180680&sa=X&ei=pDOcVY-BIs-wyATz3ImgAw&ved=0CCUQ1QIoAg
Live your own myth by any number of experiments.

Or, one thing I found useful quite a while ago was a ball of hash, a bottle of Jaegermeister, and a carefully selected playlist including selections from Robert Plant, Led Zeppelin, a few from the Page & Plant "Walking to Clarksdale" album, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, and Leonard Cohen. (I think you'll find the right songs.)

Thanks for the tips.
Maybe the whole angel thing just doesn't resonate with me. I have tried "meditating" and poems but I just can't find the passion for it.
Something like a god I could definitely muster up some flames for since I have a wealth of information to read about them.I am only invoking for the experience of doing so. I wanted to start small with something like a choir.

That's probably the issue, then: You're doing it more or less as practice. You aren't starting with a fire in your belly for the result, a compelling, irrepressible need for a thing.
