Runes corresp. to TOL
-
For this insight into the attribution of Runes to the TOL I am greatly indebted to the book (originally a blog) Rune Secrets by Tyriel.
The Elder Futhark consists of 24 Runes, and they can be easily attributed to the 22 Paths/Major Arcanas and the 2 rows corresponding to Earth and to Spirit (rows 32 bis and 31 bis, respectively).

Daleth as Form-establishing & Form protecting, the tremendous-ness of the Force of Nature,; The Door.
Thurisaz as Thor's hammer functioning as guardian between Asgaard and the Giants (representing forces of Chaos), and as Gateway.
