Do you think that Bhakti-yoga can work if the participant has no good foundation in hatha yoga? That seemed to be the prescription of the Hare Krsna movement along with a ban on fornication, alcohol and smoking. The founder was A. C. Bhaktiivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

As you know, Crowley put Bhakti work in 4=7 Netzach presumably for those who had some kundalini asana/pranayama under their belt...so to speak.

Maybe bhakti-yoga is ineffective from the get go and that's why the Hare Krsna movement lost it's momentum?

    Gauni-bhakti? Sure. No particular relationship.

They aren't necessarily linearly associated. The goal was to expose the aspirant to a range of types of yoga so that they had a full tool chest. Gnana and bhakti are in 3=8 and 4=7 because they are thematically consistent with the respective grades.

Has it lost its momentum? You couldn't tell from one of their breakfasts.

In that case I would propose that bkakti-yog is intensified or more effective when we have good grounding in hatha yoga or at least when we are more able to detach from the components from consciousness.
