What sort of cross can be carved onto chest during this rite?

Would a traditional "cross of Christ" be ok?

There's no accurate description; *He lays the Wand, etc., on the Altar, uses the Scourge on his buttocks, cuts a cross with the Daggar upon his breast & tightens the Chain of the Bell about his forehead, saying: *

The traditional "Christian cross" shape is derived from the QBL Cross anyway isn't it?.

That ritual was constructed by Crowley during the events of his awesome diary excerpt "John St. John," Liber DCCCLX. Several times in DCCCLX he refers to "cutting the cross of blood" as a way to affirm his intention of spiritual pursuits over material ones and that may have had influence over his inclusion of similar instruction in the Pyramidos ritual. He also, in that diary, utilizes extensively the asana of the Hanged Man from the Mem card, which, in one way or other, symbolizes self-sacrifice (not out of some false moral obligation but rather to one's Will toward the HGA), and whose form is of the inverted cross of the crucifixion. I would read that diary for hints if more information is not forthcoming from others more learned than I.

Crowley omitted exact instruction on what sort of cross. Every person is a star so I'd say that whatever cross gets you off then it'll do, as long as you accept that Horus, Lord of Force and Fire took the reigns as stated in Liber Al.

Crowley's drawings showed simple Greek crosses (equal armed). But it's not a picky point.
