Liber LXV, Cap. III, v. 37-39
37. I am like the little red dog that sitteth upon the knees of the Unknown.
38. Thou hast brought me into great delight. Thou hast given me of Thy flesh to eat and of Thy blood for an offering of intoxication.
39. Thou hast fastened the fangs of Eternity in my soul, and the Poison of the Infinite hath consumed me utterly. -

39. Thou hast fastened the fangs of Eternity in my soul, and the Poison of the Infinite hath consumed me utterly.The I-consciousness is like this dog - loyal to & dependent upon the Unknown.
This relationship is the most-delightful food for soul, for it answers the deepest hunger.
Once tasted, the Infinite consumes the Lover.
"But whoso gives one particle of dust shall lose all in that hour."
