I just (re)discovered this forum, in fact I found a very old email from 2017 in which I tried to create an account on heruraha, but I don't think that it was ever approved. All things in good time...

So this dream... happened about a week ago. While some aspects are fading, the three angels I saw... are not. Here's how the dream played out. (as background, I'm in my 50's, discovered the Middle Pillar in my teens and have done 1000's of LBRP's and middle pillar rituals.)

So there I was, in some weird big "loft like" room, with a very high ceiling and large windows near the roof. It somehow became evident to me that this room was located under a bridge and the floor slightly sloped down to a river. The first "feeling" I received in the room, after I 'took in the scene' was this awareness that two girls had died in the room. I was aware that their spirits or some "spiritual residue" were still residing in the room, but if I banished the space COMPLETELY, that their spirits could finally be at peace. So I proceeded to banish the four quarters and cleared the space. While I was banishing, (old LBRP, not ruby) I felt some forces being pushed out.

Phase change, (which tends to happen in dreams) and I was in a totally different space. In this space, I was immediately presented with three "beings", all male, but lacking any sex-organs, as far as I'm aware. The thing that was so striking was how skinny, but muscular they were. Odd, I know. Not knowing these "beings" I wasn't sure if they were 'friend or foe' and so I must have hesitated while deciding how to communicate with them. Then I finally decided that the best way to decide if they were demons or angels, was to make the cross over their chest. So I approached one made the cross over his/its chest. There was absolutely no physical reaction from the being. Maybe I sense some state of annoyance by my meager attempt to "test" him.

    So my questions:

    1. Could these be angels or demons?
    2. Why three and not four beings?
    3. Why no comms/attack/reaction with/to me?
    4. How do I get back there?

    T

It is an interesting dream for sure, and it has had an impact.

I was always instructed that any “person” in a dream is me, no matter the number or configuration, in the language of the subconscious. I am going to go top down a bit.

      1. The loft, old but utilitarian, lots of light coming in, a bit stark, and yet to be defined. That is pretty rich for analysis.
      2. Spiritual residue of two dead girls. By the time we hit our 50s, we have been at least two different adult people, aside from our child and adolescent selves. I think there is a lot to work with—be very subject matter oriented.
      3. Depending on the lore, the difference between Angels and Demons is a war in heaven. What I find interesting is that it was not apparent one way or the other. More importantly, the true work of any magician is to integrate all opposites. These "male aspects" get a lot of exercise but are malnourished, underdeveloped, and impotent.

Some dream spaces are easy to return to, especially if we specifically construct them. Much of the process of hermetics is to seed the subconscious with a symbolic language by which to do just that—at first.

Analyze the part where the dream shifts, because I have learned through analysis that the "phase change" is significant. What did you do to cause the change and then what happened immediately after? Why do you think that happened?

In my personal experience, if I "test" an entity with a pentagram and it doesn't react negatively, that's usually a good sign, but go with your intuition. I have tested entities and received very negative reactions, so that becomes pretty obvious to discern. You can also interpret everyone you encounter in the dream space as part of yourself, as said above. I think it's a matter of convenience.

Next time you go to sleep, you could seed the intention in your mind to pick up where the dream left off and see what happens.
