Implements for Enochian system93
I know that it's suggested for one to make one's own magickal implements. When it comes to implements for Enochian system however there is clearly an added level of complexity. I'm curious on your input regarding whether it's a worthwhile effort to try to make one's own tools - it seems like it would take a lot longer to do so (if that's even possible in a first place!) than to say order pre-made ones. I'm wondering if it's acceptable to order them as opposed to build them myself. Some say that the process of making these tools brings about a level of attunement in a practitioner.
Another question I had is having to do w materials used. The ring and the lamen are to be made of gold - clearly a lot of people are opting for different materials, and I suppose that might do as well... but i'm curious if anyone had experience working with genuine materials as instructed by the angels - and if they found any difference in overall experience compared to those when using implements made from alternative materials...Any other tips regarding this matter would be appreciated - such as links for online stores that offer Enochian implements with beautiful craftsmanship...

March 16-18, 2014; XXI. The UniverseMeditation 1
Shakti in playful engagement with the cosmic serpent of Hadit. Body of Nuit is all pervasive around them.
Like a ship in the midst of a starry vault, the eye of Ra travels over the dark vast emptiness bestowing his penetrating light. It is casting its solar rays upon Shakti and the cosmic serpent as they dance in sexual rapture and bliss – which is the very essence of the experience of being/existing. Wisdom which illuminates and liberates (serpent) is indivisible from bliss – as is also communicated in Tibetan Buddhist Tantras that speak of bliss and voidness as two inseparable qualities of the ultimate nature of reality. Voidness refers to lack of intrinsic existence, and the recognition of voidness as the ultimate nature of all things is the wisdom which enlightens the mind and transforms it into the Buddha mind. The sexual (creative and active quality of existence) connotation also comes from the presence of polarities – the feminine (Goddess) and the masculine (phallic serpent, with solar light shining upon him). All takes place inside the shape of the ultimate Yoni, the womb that gives birth to the universe, its galaxies, stars, and planets. The Yoni is that of the Great Mother, or Binah to whom Saturn is attributed – in addition to its attribution to the Universe card. In this context the imagery can also be seen from the perspective of being submerged in the deep primordial waters, and the Eye is shaped like a bottom of the ship up above.Meditation 2
In this card I find it curious that air and water seem interchangeable so that the image might be taking place out in space, as well as under the water. The 4 Cherubim are expelling what seems to me like water (could be air too I suppose) from their orifices. I think this ambiguity is done on purpose, to further emphasize the presence of the Great Mother/Binah principle. The outline is that of Yoni, which might be a window into the Great Womb where all is formed - metaphorically.
Turning the card horizontally also makes it appear like an eye – perhaps signifying the self-awareness inherent within the Universe itself. This makes me think of Alan Watts’ saying: ““Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself. Through our ears, the universe is listening to its harmonies. We are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, of its magnificence.”Meditation 3
Shakti riding the serpent – she is directing the kundalini force – their intertwined bodies compose an infinity symbol – indicating the limitless capacity of the universal energy which they represent.
Today my eye keeps on going to the architectural structure within the pyramid on the bottom of the card – makes me think of the following phrase “The Khabs is in the Khu, not the Khu in the Khabs”. I think because of this verse “…and Khabs is the name of my House” where Khabs is metaphorically referred to as the house. Hence I am seeing this structure as if the architectural structure might be representative of the Kingdom of God, and it is inside the pyramid form which is its outer form/shell – extending the metaphor to the impermanent shell/enclosure that is our human body and immortal and divine/spirit within it. In the universe card this further confirms the limitless/endless universal energy that is ever-more recycled unto itself (as waves rise and then crash back becoming again one with the ocean) – hence physical death is not the end but rather it signifies returning of the energy back to its source. The Universe is forever a living, moving phenomenon. -

April 10 ALEPH, The Fool, Air Liber L., Cap III (Heru-Ra-Ha)T.'.O.'.T.'. in NYC just had the most kick ass reading of the 3rd Chapter EVER! Hopefully recording turns out well. I'll post it here as soon as it's available. Two of our members did it, one was reading and the other was making ambient sounds with a drum and some sort of gadget I've never seen before. The room got incredibly charged! It was absolutely amazing.

April 10 ALEPH, The Fool, Air Liber L., Cap III (Heru-Ra-Ha)HAPPY RA-HOOR-KHUIT YOU GUYS!
Tarot Meditation – The Fool
I can hear the music coming across the field – the field of bounty. It is a field of golden wheat that bathes in the light of the sun. There is also vineyard nearby abundant with fragrant grapes – myriads of Gaia’s breasts whose milk is sweet wine which foams. There is a massive butterfly whose wings unfold and in their motion form breeze of blissful vibrations luring all into its fold.
A song pierces the space with a joyful voice and youthful capacity when he enters the field of wheat playfully passing his had over the tips illuminated by the solar light. And he is ever so intoxicated with all of his senses, his fingertips caressing the Sun itself, his eyes bathing in the solar reflections bouncing here and there; his feet gently tickling Gaia’s body; his song - vibration of worship to the abundant goddess that offers fruits in her bosom. He consumes her grapes, drinking the very wine of the gods. Absolutely free in his demeanor, his walk is a care-free dance, moving aimlessly and without a pre-set destination, allowing the stream of life to take him in its flow as only nature directs, not resisting obstructions, not desiring more or less of anything. And utterly blissful he dwells.
He carries a flute and he blows into it. The melody transforms him at the atomic level and his form is shifted into that of Pan galloping down the field, consumed in his music and gone to the world; frisky and flirty, seducing the Muses and the nature spirits. Wherever he steps exalted mushrooms and wild flowers grow. The leap of his heel forms blood-red strawberries that are so nourishing to maidens’ lips as they color them blood red. He is fertility itself. He scatters the seed all over Gaia’s womb, he fathers glorious children rooted in black earth, swallowing the Sun with their mouths; carrying raging fire in their blood. Children of joy and celebration, children of great intensity, Kings of the earth, carrying large swords and bridging the land with the great sea, feeding air to the fire. Annihilating those diseased by greed, and those blind to the world who only behold their own image in the mirror of god’s children. When pierced with the sword their black blood gushes out and stains the earth and by lunar light does it fade.
And the great child is his own father, but his ultimate father is lord the Sun who nourishes him from above and from within, raising him to the pinnacle of power and guiding his sword in the battle of conquest. Conquering oneself for the glory of the stars and offering one’s blood on the altar of the Ancient One that it may become Her wine. Let it drip into black earth and nourish her thirst so that in her gladness she may bring back the abundance – fragrant fruits, flowers and leaves, and offer her bosom for seeding so that we may have great harvest to collect.
So the Fool lies in the bed of roses, intoxicated by the scent of purple, dreaming a dream of becoming one with the elements and with the stars thereof. -

April 9 (BETH, The Magus, Mercury) Liber L., Cap. II (Hadit)HAPPY HADIT!
Tarot Meditation – The Magus
Massive blue and gold serpent coiled, arises from the sleep in the midst of deep space - the cosmic serpent. He is pierced with arrows of doubt, but he expels them out of his flesh. They don’t penetrate him or draw his blood. He has red eyes and beholds those with fire in their heart. Them he bites, them he nourishes with his poison. With his fangs he pierces the veil and as he shoots forth venom he dissolves the illusion and delusion of this world. He brings death to sorrow, powerlessness and pity, and he grants a new life of glory and joy. He brigs the message of the Highest and he delivers swiftly. No sword can cut him. Swords of reason grow dull before him. And with his body he coils around squeezing the life out of the prison shell, purifies ill at heart and weak at mind, casting them out of their miserable body, sending them off on a journey for a new chance at the game of life. But enough about weakness and that which clouds the joy of existence. For too many embodied forms are but mindless shells, soul-less slaves - they will get a chance another time.
But those who worship in ecstasy, who eat and drink for the highest, who burn with bliss of the flesh and penetrate each moment with their mind of acute awareness, like an invincible arrow – their path does not waver. It is honest and direct, and never weakened by shame, never seeking permission to utterly own this physical realm and govern their senses, body and mind. And those ones rise to the throne of the Magician, Lord of the elements, a laughing fool to the blind, but exalted mystic in the light of the Goddess, with the glorious Sun at his heart and sublime resilient Moon at his throat, with Mercury in his third eye – he enters the army of the most high. He lives in the palace of the divine kingdom, his art is poetry and his tools are a pen and a scroll. Uninhibited he speaks the truth and reveals it to the wise. His words form glorious songs of worship to the Highest. -
April 8 (GIMEL, The Priestess, Moon) Liber L., Cap. I (Nuit)Tarot Meditation – The Priestess
There is a long line on the horizon curving, separating the abode from the great ocean. Inside the ocean are various fruits of its womb – pearls and beautiful corals, treasure chests abundant with silver and gold. And she lifts up the net pulling out of the riches of the earth and water, scattering them up into the atmosphere and they all find their place in the heavens above.
And she pulls the silver dust from her bosom and scatters that too. She’s the Lunar Goddess, the Mother of the Stars, the mother of all that is vast, and blue, and black; of all vastness that is an open space for myriads of potentialities to unfold and bear fruit, and she has no limits, she has no beginning nor end. Her domain and her body are vast and unobstructed, yet they are pervaded with silver thread that holds everything together in an interconnected relationship, so that all is the part of one. And since there is no division beyond one, there is no even one – it is everything and nothing at once.
And in her belly churns the essence of the stars and she opens her legs generously birthing galaxies, universes, countless dimensions – because she is the ultimate goddess of abundance, she is the ultimate mother of all things from which she is inseparable herself, as are we inseparable from her. She is pure ecstasy. The pinnacle of joy and pleasure is her Yoni which springs all that is great and perfect and sublime into existence. The energy that pours out from her is the Prana that gives life, the Prana that is pervaded with consciousness in its every minute part. Her exalted scent pervades every consciousness and when the heart is open the energy of her love penetrates the throat and spills generously into every individual microcosm. Thus is empowered the insight that - like a seed - is inherently planted in every embodied cloud of awareness and is waiting to be nourished by lustral waters of devotion. And the seed may crack and the light of the moon may shine upon the inner darkness of our minds revealing the upward path that leads into a divine gardens of exalted wisdom whereupon a thousand-petaled lotus may be plucked and consumed by the senses.
The star formations in the sky are but residual traces of her barefoot imprint. She dwells in this cosmic playground of hers, letting us ever remain in wonder looking up and admiring the simple remnants of her presence. Thus we have intoxication in our hearts innately, too. So when our cup spills and overflows at the transcendent experience of love, the Sun may shine from our hearts and illuminate all, uncovering the vision of one taste and the utter annihilation of the prison form.
In this greatest-of-all luminosity everything becomes the same source of light. -

April 7 (DALETH, The Empress, Venus) Liber VII, Cap. 7Tarot Meditation - Empress
There is a great mountain in the distance and the hawks are circling around above it.
The Sun breaks through the clouds and illuminates the mountain revealing its splendor, for it is made of crystal and amethyst, with golden and silver veins passing through its midst. Sun and Moon bathe it every day and every night and in their light the mountain stands even more beautiful, nourished by their energies that activate solar and lunar flow within the mountain. And in the midst of this mountain is a dwelling place of motherly love, and of love between sweet maiden and her knight. The colors of this kingdom are rosy. And their fields are pastel green. It is the kind of love characterized by innocence and purity and youth. And one’s presence there is a blessing, for wherever one steps - in that place flowers grow. And every word one utters is followed by the song of the Birds of Paradise. To fall asleep here is to rest in the sweetest of dreams. To eat foods here is to drink divine nectars that seep from exalted vineyards of eternity. And to breathe air here is to be ever-intoxicated by ecstatic joys. And this place is in the midst of the mountains protected by their hard shells. And this kingdom is nourished by the sun and the moon, daily and nightly, both of which give of their light generously to celebrate this kingdom of love, selfless giving and surrender of the heart, body and spirit. -
March 12-14, 2014: XX. The AeonMeditation 1
I get a sense of strength and silent/dormant but intense force
The Shin symbols contains three images – what to me seem like mother with the babe in the first, a very young child in the second, and an adult in the third. They can be interpreted as stages: first image - infancy and dependence or motherhood – the birth of power; second image - youth – the dormant, passive or silent power; and third image – adulthood – ripening of power and its unfolding in its full potential. Or same idea in the following way: 1 - Isis breastfeeding Horus; 2 - Hoor-Paar-Kraat; 3 - Ra Hoor Khuit. This same triple-imagery occurs in the card in a direct manner by displaying portraits of Nuit, Hoor-Paar-Kraat and Ra Hoor Khuit.
Letter Shin – sounds like “Shhhh” – the sound we make when we want to emphasize silence (Hoor-Paar-Kraat)Meditation 2
The first thing that becomes immediately noticeable is that the shape inside the circumference of Nuit is shaped like a human face. It is entirely yellow/gold in color which makes me think of the “face of god” as solar bright light. Within this facial shape are Ra Hook Khuit and Hoor-Paar-Kraat – the two aspects/expressions of one face of god. The solar disc of Ra Hoor Khuit is about where the third eye would be located on the face.
Hoor-Paar-Kraat wears a Double Crown – a headdress sporting a cobra and 2 vultures - marking him as the Crowned and Conquering Child. In ancient Egypt Horus was sometimes represented as wearing such Double Crown which is also called the Pschent.
Pschent is a combination of Red and White Crowns - of Lower and Upper Egypt respectively. This is open to a number of symbolic representations – red and white being the colors of (menstrual) blood and semen used in sexual alchemy and in Hindu and Buddhist Tantra; also these colors are referred to in alchemy as in Red Lion and White Eagle – and hence bringing reference to Male and Female, as well as subtle channels within the body – Pingala and Ida.
Lower and Upper Egypt may also be symbolic references to the physiology of physical and/or subtle body. In Tibetan Tantra there is a mention of red and white drops (within the subtle body) – white drop is situated in the crown chakra (Upper Egypt corresponding to white crown) and red drop in the navel chakra (Lower Egypt corresponding to red crown). Merging of the white and red drops symbolically represents merging of wisdom and compassion (method) – which brings about the manifestation of the Buddha Vajradhara (the ultimate Tantric Buddha) – who holds Bell (wisdom implement) in his lunar/feminine hand and Vajra (method/compassion implement) in his solar/masculine hand. With this interpretation the Crowned and Conquering Child gets a whole new level of meaning – Pschent is Red and White Crowns united – hence he wears a crown that is representative of accomplishment of alchemical great work – union of 2 alchemical drops. Hence he further symbolizes transcendence and is sealed with silence – and in every tradition there is a special relationship between the concept of silence and that of transcendence – they always go together. No true Adept, Guru, or Yogi goes around boasting about his or her realizations, for that indicates the presence of Ego, which automatically denies their ultimate realization.
Observing the reference to Ida and Pingala with Lunar and Solar energies being united in his crown makes me think of Pranayama where during alternate nostril breathing one unites Prana and Apana at the base of spine and then applies the 2 locks: mulabandha which is engaged to pull the energy up the spine toward the 3rd eye and jalandhara at throat which is engaged to keep the prana from spilling outside of the body before reaching the third eye. The method by which Lunar and Solar energies are united is Pranayama – which is based in breathing – and his gesture of silence is also a gesture which points to the mouth and toward the nose – which are our main breathing implements.Meditation 3
The area between arching Nuit and Hadit below her also appears as a womb from whence Heru Ra Ha springs forth in his two aspects: passive (translucent Hoor-Paar-Kraat) and active (bold Ra Hoor Khuit).
Crowned and Conquering Child stands on Shin – tooth – symbolically shredding or breaking through weakness, delusion, false virtues and everything else that keeps us from accomplishing the Great Work.
The shredding process is systematic as portrayed by 3 figures inside the Shin letter which I described in
Meditation 1:
1st step – image of a mother holding a child – relying on self-compassion and other-compassion - a prerequisite to willingly recognizing one’s own weaknesses. Without self-compassionate affect one is prone to defensiveness and denial when it comes to seeing oneself clearly, which leads to projections of one’s own shortcomings on to others, often followed by their criticism and judgment. This first image/step also indicates reliance on a teacher or a Guru.
The second step – portrayed by a child on its own – starting one’s own journey of growing/evolution, learning to start relying on oneself in the spiritual process. In this step there is still some level of dependency on the outside mentorship.
The third step – growing into spiritual adulthood – surviving the infantile tendencies of the psyche to resort to neurosis and projections and overcoming their pitfalls. Dedicating oneself to spiritual discipline in an “adult” way, self-sufficiently, relying on the Guru within. -
April 6 (HEH, The Star, Aquarius) Liber ARARITA, Cap. 6Tarot Meditation - The Star
Her hair moving in the wind, forming waves that drift through the night sky. Her body is made of stardust. She is the Mother of the Stars. She blows dust from her hand and she scatters myriads of little lamps over the horizon. They pave the way for the people of the earth, while telling stories about the Mysteries, from times far away. These shining jewels form myriad of spirals. Their beautiful geometric structures telling a story of a Universe pervaded with intelligence and grand design, with sacred geometry and inherent beauty.
Each star has a resonance of its own, and together they form a choir – singing a song of unimaginable beauty. The Star Goddess - the Mother of the Stars - conducts their song and composes the sweet melody of the starry abode.
The stars are weaved into dreams that come to life at nighttime when the conscious mind is fast asleep. They tell tales of divine origin to remind us of our purpose and of our course, of things deeply held and kept in the hearts and minds of men and women of the earth. They form a path back home into ourselves, thus they direct the course not only externally but internally, too. Mother of the Stars is also the mistress of our dreams. She creates concoction of visions and we get submerged in this ocean of imagery soaking up the symbols that tell stories of our human ancestry. And if we learn how to swim we enter the gateway that leads to our subconscious. We hold the golden key to the treasure chest of lucidity and awareness so that we may stand at the helm of our dream boat and sail courageously into unknown, ready to conquer the lost islands in this vast sea of consciousness. -
April 5 VAV, The Hierophant: Liber LXV, Cap. 5Tarot Meditation – The Hierophant
Isis unleashed her veil and with the swing of her arm she covered the sky into dark-blue splendor pierced with magnificence of starry delight. Like a pierced fabric in the place of the stars white milk pours out. The river of milk was formed and I jumped in and was carried by the current, and I was drowned in it. I was tossed down the waterfall and I hit the bed of diamond rocks below, and was scattered into little pieces. Some pieces were carried far away; some were taken away by vultures; others fed the onyx fish in the milky water. And so I was scattered across the land and I became a bird and a fish, and water and land. I nourished the trees and flowers, I nourished the birds and fish. And I possessed them, so that I was everywhere. And everywhere they went and left trace, it was the trace of me. But it was not me in my separateness from the universe, nor in my assumed identity. It was that Me which was one with the stars, which was one with the God of the Underworld, and the God of the Sun, and one with the Gods of Earth and Sky, one with Goddess of Water, and one with the Goddess of Stars.
And through the eyes of the bird I saw everything upon the land; through the body of the fish I tasted every body of water there is. And as the little flowers I was embraced by the cold earth and I was nourished by the air above it. As water I touched every flame that I put out. As the mist I was raised up into the sky and dwelled in clouds before coming back down. I was the light in the rainbow which I formed. I was the tickle in the breeze. I tickled and I was tickled. And it felt like the vibration of a child’s laughter – that inner child that’s seated at the heart. And there was a great joy in that. There was gladness, and there was beauty in it, too.
When I span my wings I can cover the entirety of the Universe. I can play hide and seek with the stars and blow them away playfully just to have them swing back toward me. And I can dance with them and hear them jingle as they laugh, as we share in unimaginable joys of play and innocence, rejoicing for pure existence, celebrating being and non-being.
In this place there is no fear, there is no tight gripping. There is only blissful buoyancy, endless floating through endless space in the bark that sails smoothly unobstructed by time or by space. -
April 5 VAV, The Hierophant: Liber LXV, Cap. 5Wow, today's chapter blew me away completely. I got into this incredible Zone. This is going to be my chosen chapter of Liber LXV to memorize.

April 4 ZAYIN, The Lovers: Liber LXV, Cap. 2Tarot Meditation - The Lovers
There is a tornado sweeping across the horizon. It brings air and earth into union. I enter it and find myself in the eye of the storm. In its very center there is great stillness to be found. Around me I see images and hear voices all mixed-in together into a great collage of color and sound. The tornado disperses from the center out - all that is left is barren land now, all has been cleaned out.
The sun breaks through the clouds and the earth starts to grow green vegetation with little white flowers. It is the dawn of Spring. I see butterflies – many of them. There is an army of soldiers gathered on two sides, holding their swords upwards. Butterflies land on the tip of their blades. Now they re-form into 4 groups, making a circle around an altar that’s in the center. Altar is made from a diamond material. The altar holds a large red rose on its top with a drop of dew at its center that is consumed by a little green snake that emerges from the midst of the rose. The drop passes through the snake and exits its body in the form of golden dust; it can be seen sprinkling down the center of the clear altar forming a beautiful sight. Somebody comes in and with a massive sword pierces the rose through its center and down the altar. Blood starts to pour forth. A woman comes with a pitcher of lunar water and rinses the wound of the stone. The bloodied water entering earth causes great rosebushes to arise around the altar, with beautiful voluptuous flowers, their scent permeating the space. The army of soldiers dissipates into air. From each side of the altar emerge a man and a woman. His skin is black onyx and hers is that of white pearl. The Sun and the Moon are simultaneously in the sky witnessing this marriage. Their drops pour down. Lunar drop pours on a woman and solar drop pours on the man. With these drops on their tongues they meet over the altar and kiss, mixing their essences into one another so that she receives the Sun and he the Moon. And his Sun drops to her belly, her Moon drops into his throat. And from their kiss emerges a mixture drop that fills the cup sitting below on the altar. In the cup arises a sacred ocean with a strong current that causes forms waves. Below the surface is a little gold fish that swallows the pearl pebble.
Together the Lovers take the lance and pierce the cup and the fish, causing this exalted ocean to spill over and to wash everything with its alchemical water which doesn’t wet. It purifies and intoxicates the senses; soon it covers everything and all that is left is water and sky. The Lovers are on the love boat, rocking gently. A divine rosy breath-breeze swings them in love’s ecstasy to and fro. They lie on their sides embraced. The ocean becomes a bed of petals, and babe-angels come to serve them sweet wines and place wreaths on their heads.
As they sit up forming Yab Yum the sun in her belly and the moon in his throat meet at their hearts and become conjoined forming divine light that encompasses them both and expands furthermore, filling all of space, turning everything into one taste of Divinity. -

April 3 (CHETH, The Chariot, Cancer) Liber ChethTarot Meditation – The Chariot
There is a wormhole, a passage through space-time. Through it emerges the Chariot. The Charioteer is the Higher Self governing the senses, containing the Holy Grail. The Higher Self travels through the aeons and across great distances, and it is imperishable and indestructible. His servants are speech, volition, discrimination (mental discernment), and the physical body; with these also eyes, nose, ears and tongue. Under the Higher Self these are governed and contained, made to serve and not permitted to rule. Made to be directed and not to direct. The Higher Self drinks from the Holy Grail and gains the power to wield these forces of consciousness in their embodied form. His whip is a solar whip of discipline. His shield reflects the light of the Sun - Tiphereth and absorbs solar energy to replenish himself and gain new strength which comes from being one with the beauty. The Charioteer wears a hard body of armor, but the being within is made of ethereal light, the rainbow body of the clear-light mind. The Higher Self works in the background throughout all the lifetimes of one’s embodied form, unrestricted by time or by death, he may emerge spontaneously at any instant claiming his solar throne in one’s heart; and arising to the pinnacle on the seat of the moon beneath a crown of 1000-petalled lotus. He paves the way forming an illuminated path for solar and lunar energies to pour through. He has no face for he is not restricted by the corporeal form. He moves like the lighting. His form is pure light and his substance wisdom of the ages. His mark is that of utter freedom and delight and his purpose is union with the Most High.
