So unless no one is sharing,out of every one on this forum no one has Astral Traveled at all???

I would be disappointed if this is the case.

I know Astral travel is not the be all, is all but I think its a stepping stone in ones being to accomplish this.

Thanks for your advice on that and like you I also have my own little method of keeping my attention to my other body once the conciseness is transferred.

As far as joining a order,I think this is some thing I can do on my own threw time and practice but oddly you say that,it was shown to me by the head or a surtant magical order:}

I have began performing the Astral Travel method.

I was wondering if any one else has had success in doing this,I dont expect you to share experiences on a open form but im curious if any here has done this with success and if so what advice would you have for me.

I have to honestly say the method ive seen and used here is better than any other ive seen.

Once I transfer my conciseness to the to my double of my self thats created, I notice some very profound things with a strong form of separateness of my body,even thou the first time I did this last night was not successful, I still noticed the above which aside more than I can describe in words it was a good start.

Look to hearing some advice on this.

Jim nailed it,thank you pretty much what I was thinking.

Then I love how so many Thelemites talk about the Qlipthoth and don't even work with it or experienced it.

There is a quote Liber Tzaddi that grabs my attention,

I am curious what workings in Thelema when one does get to the point of working with the "Darker" Qliphothic forces is there?

Is it a reversal of some of the working in Thelema?

I mean this in the final workings in the grade or 5=8 or some thing else,I believe Metzareph said?

PS I really dont mean to make ever post about some thing "Dark" that is restrictive I feel but this did come to mind.

I found what you said about using Heroin for the extra help with astral work interesting..but Heroin is a little scary I must say to be using.

I have some left over Methadone pills from my aunt when she was alive[cancer issue I think]and I use less that 10MG and when I go to go to sleep some time and I really feel relaxed enough to feel like I could lunch my self into it[astral travel]but sadly it doesn't let me sleep well so I think it chancel's it out.

I have had other very vivid astral experience's in the past but sober.

I am thinking about ordering some of his books and hear only good things about his work and I would be interested to hear any ones else's take on his work with Hermetics.

Oh man..I watched 10 seconds of this video and turned it off..I didnt even want to hear what he had to say just based on his introduction alone!

But more power to the guy if he is really into it.

I recommend readying some of Grants books on this matter he really explains it well.

I own "Aleister Crowley and the practice of the magickal diary" with excerpts of the John Saint John in it.

I found this book to be very informative and great so I recommend it!

I have one more thing.

I read a ritual that utilizing only the earth hexagram in all 4 quarters.

What would the use of this be,to use only the Earth Hexagram or any other for that matter?

I have a question here.

When doing the LHR do you have to do both invoking Hexagrams as well as Banishing Hexagrams?

Or can I only do one say Invoking?

If I have to do banishing I do every thing in reverse order as well east,south,west,north?

Ive actually been thinking about performing Bhakti Yoga now for some time!

Ive been reading the book "Alister Crowely and the Magical Diary" and in his diary he makes mention of doing some form of a mantra during the day in his every day life.

I was not aware of this type of practice I all ways thought of it of some thing you do during mediation.

Could any one help me out with what he meant by this;

1.Was it a metal mantra and or a mantra spoken softly loudly?

2.Second could some one give me some incite as to a type of Mantra I could do during the day if this is this case.[give me a book refrance or any thing of a sort]
