It seems I tripped over it again.
But it makes me think... Where did I read this? (summarized below)
Crowley was talking to Case about the Heh/Tzaddi swap. Case smiled and said, "I see what you did there." But he stuck with his own set of attributions.
I haven't a clue. I don't recall ever hearing anything of this sort.
It's particularly suspect because Crowley never solidly settled on it until about the time he wrote Liber Aleph. His personal communication interaction with Case was a few years earlier in NY, and wasn't really a peer relationship. Also, Case wasn't solidly anchored in is own reconstruction yet. It's possible that a conversation occurred despite all of this, but it doesn't feel right.
