I think this may be a temporary astrological affect, but I'd swear that the only thing that makes sense is that I'm tuned in to other people's lower, more suspicious, and scandalous ...um... "radiation."

I'd go for a current astrological effect, but the two aren't mutually exclusive. The astrological effect might be to sensitize you to this.
But, in general, gosh, that sounds like a shadow expression of Mercury.

My active metaphor for this whole passing period has been to identify and isolate the faulty line. The synchronicities are there, but they aren't all connected to reality - perhaps potential, but not actual.
There's a lot of fact checking and reality checking necessary.

My standard interpretation for Saturn transits to natal Neptune. Please understand that it was written way more upbeat than might be warranted for accuracy, because people having this transit need a slightly absurd upbeat way to look at things, to get through it easier.
Dreams and ideals now become grounded. If well formed and realistic in the context of your life, they are made sounder, and steps are taken to manifest them as concrete reality. Otherwise, be prepared for some healthy disillusionment, freeing your imaginative energies for more practical ends. Either way, certainty is a theme of your thinking and wishing patterns right now.
