Hello all!
Just wanted to say that I am happy to finally be here. I tried to create an account several times but it would not work, so I am very excited to finally be able to be a part of the conversation, especially as there are not a lot of online recources with as much of a specific purpose to them, or people I can talk to with actual experience.I have always been interested in magick since I was a child, whether it be the spiritual practices of a Tibetan monk, or under the guise of a fairy tale, or even taking walks alone in the woods. When it comes down to it, I think I have always wanted to explore the unknown, to tap into the vast unreached parts of human consciousness and to emerge greater and more enlightened, and a better person. To be a perfect cog integrated into the grand clock of the universe and to be an integral part. To become fully awake. To know the one truth and not two opposing ideas. to know god. There are many phrases I could use to continue to elaborate but it would be useless.
Like many people I'm sure, I use the book of the law to live my life. At first I did not understand its greatness, but upon reading in various different manners, environments, and under different influences in general, I came to realize that indeed this book is a work of genius. It was a work that could truly be applied to every part of life, to literally anything. And that is why I am here, because i have researched many many different systems even starting as a teenager(I am in my early 20s now) and re reviewing them in the future, and Thelema is the only thing that really has made sense to me. The book of the law is a wonderful guide in the quest for truth and has kick started a thirst and passion for knowledge that before nothing had accomplished, and I believe it my, and humanities only way to obtain and maintain both freedom, and continuation of the species.
Let's teach kids about Thelema and protecting the environment!! anyway, hello to all, I am very excited to be here.
Sorry if that was a long rant, and thank you if you read through the whole thing! -
That was a rant?
Well, thank you (and welcome).
