Ever bothered to ask HOW the Qur'an explains these things? ...or where in the Qur'an these things are explained?

Matt Rogers (a.k.a. Tau Polyphilus, a.k.a. Dionysos Thriambos) has a series of interesting and insightful livejournal posts on some possible connections between Thelema and Islam.

Those posts are more concerned with metaphorical interpretations of the symbolism of the two traditions... so maybe not exactly what the original poster had in mind, though.

Quran is a book to be a beacon to God. People like to go crazy. Keep it simple, stick to what the quran says, and you will see when people say things in contradistinction to it.
