Problem with Banishing
-
I have a very odd problem with banishing. I have done it for years without a problem, but at one point I dropped doing the LBRP for the Star Ruby exclusively. After a few months of doing the Star Ruby, I realized it was not for me. It made me feel tense, and I explained it as sort of like dowsing myself with gasoline and dropping a match at my feet. It got to the point where I could not even get past the opening parts of the ritual without feeling quite strange.
So, I dropped it completely. I also dropped being a probationer in the A.'.A.'. which actually almost immediately alleviated this strange, tense sort of feeling that was following me around. After a few weeks I tried to get back into doing my regular LBRP, LBRH, BRH, and RC rituals, but for some reason they evoke the same uneasiness as the Star Ruby did when I was doing it. I doubt if anyone else has had this exact same problem, though I am still looking for possible advice on what to do. It is possible that the Star Ruby blew me wide open so to speak to some energies that I was not ready to absorb and it is sort of lingering around. I feel totally fine, actually, but when I try to do ritual that over sensitized feeling comes right back as if it never went away. It is quite strange and I just want everything to be like it was before if that is at all possible. It might have something to do with my chakra system needing to be "re-polarized" so to speak. Maybe I'll try EFT, hmm.

Going mostly on intuition (since I don't have enough information to make an exact judgment in your case):
For at least 60-90 days, precede all such practices with
(1) careful, systematic progressive relaxation of your whole body, then
(2) at least 10 minutes of gentle rhythmic breathingFor two weeks, don't do the pentagram ritual. After the above prep, just do the Middle Pillar ritual (If you want, put a week or two of just the relaxation and rhythmic breathing, and then move to two weeks of just Middle Pillar.)
Then add the pentagram ritual back in.
If you have 776 1/2, use the forms in the Appendix. If you don't have it, don't worry, just use the forms you have.
