Lately I have been performing the LBRP regularly. I am still studying the student requirements for the A.'.A.'. but I do not plan on contacting them or the O.T.O. until I move out and get a little more privacy. My question is: if I do not have a magickal weapon to perform QC LBRP QC(just as an example, as it is the only ritual I regularly perform) is it best to just trace with my finger in the air? As a beginer do I even need a magickal weapon? In any case, I am curious to know what other beginers have done in ritual without one.

I have the means to construct a magick dagger, and while I realise it's construction is a part of Zelator grade, is there any reason to hold off on making one? My brother is a blade smith, and I have actually worked on a few blades with him. I know with a little guidance from him (and use of his equipment) I could construct an awesome dagger.

Yes. That's what most of us do most of the time anyway.

"As a beginer do I even need a magical weapon?"

Nope. At least, othing outside of yourself.

As Soror Meral used to say when someone remarked that they didn't have a wand: "You have a will, don't you? That's your wand!"

"I have the means to construct a magick dagger, and while I realise it's construction is a part of Zelator grade, is there any reason to hold off on making one?"

Not at all. However, since you intend to follow the A.'.A.'. system, yoiu may want to reserve the "pick a word to describe the universe" etc. until you are in that grade - just add it to the dagger at that time.

I love this quote. you are very lucky to know such a person:)

    1. For he is ever a sun, and she a moon. But to him is the winged secret flame, and to her the stooping starlight.
