Astral Dwelling: The Mystics 'House of Bread'.

What exactly is an Astral dwelling used for? Well its complicated. but I will explain a theoretical approach to constructing a dwelling/space that should be useful to any Mystic/Magickian.
It is understood that one accepts the Tree of Life as their symbolic representation of the Universe.
It is time to upgrade. Your house is wired for 120 volts of electricity. It is old, empty and dusty. The 93 current is 220 volts of electricity. Therefore it is necessary to replace the old wire with the new wire that can hold the current. Otherwise you are in danger of burning down the house.
Astral project into this House. It is yours. Therefore you possess the key to the door.
See the wiring. Recognize it as old, dangerous, and unfit to remain within your home. Rip it out of the walls. Replace this wire with a thick, clean copper wire that you are confident can handle any amount of voltage.
Now connect the outside power of the greater astral with that of your house. Make sure you connect the right type of power. you do this by visualizing what you think this power would look like. Then pull strands of it out of the Astral twining them together like a power cable. This is your power source.
Now go throw the House and flip on every light. The sepheroth are your rooms and the paths are your halls. The four worlds of manifestation are your floors. The Qilpoth is your basement.
Now, pick the room or hall that = your current location on the Tree. Furnish and decorate this room as you understand the location on the Tree. Visualize a fireplace with a chimney. Understand that every room or path above and below you will fill with the smoke from this fireplace. The smoke should be that of the incense of that particular area. Now realize that the smoke will draw the "energy" of that reality from the Astral. You should view this image as a being. Once this being shows up, it will take up permanent residence within your house. Once this takes place in an objective manner (that is the energy actually coalesces) you can tap into this reserve of energy anytime you need it. It will automatically recharge itself.
Repeat as necessary until your house is completely full.
I also suggest an impassable thicket around the house to prevent intruders from the collective astral.

I don't see anything incompatible with either/or. But the middle pillar exercise doesn't accomplish the true intent of this mystical exercise/construct/reality.
A Temple must be built before the god takes up residence. Otherwise they will not manifest. The middle pillar is to thinking as the astral temple is to meditation.

An astral temple is not a new invention. At it is easily not confused with the MP exercises. Continue in your growth and you will find that it wasn't a new construct at all.

Knock yourself out boy."I think I havent describe this quit accurately. Yes you are born with a Temple. But that Temple contains symbols and Ideas that are of another Aeon. At least for some of us it is that way.
This is simply a way to Initiate yourself using the 93 current. That is all it is. The old symbols must go and new ones put into place if you expect to grow spiritually.

I have been at this awhile. I don't mean to be rude but I haven't been setting on my azz picking my nose and dreaming of becoming a Magus;)
I say this because most of the responses are assuming i dont know what the hell I am talking about.
A little hint: Degrees/Grades don't make you spiritual. These are titles of recognition of your reality, not the reality itself.
A fresh perspective of certain realities does not make you wrong. It just means you have a different vision of reality. There are many ways to describe an event or reality. The more ways one is able to see this, the more one can understand the more subtle essence of an idea, symbol, or event.
For instance, my "astral dwelling" has been described over and over again in religous texts just in different ways. As an example, Jesus went into the Temple and flipped the tables. He also mentions the "mansion" of G-D. Moses did it when he manifested the tabernacle......and on and on.

"What I mean is before I understood who I was and what my position was in relation to the Universe, my life was irrational.
Now my life is rational and has been since around 1998. So if my view of reality is delusional I will take it any day.

I cant really explain because I feel that some things should remain private. But I will say this:
You will find yourself in the grip of a storm if you do not understand yourself. You will have no control over your actions or your environment. You must understand on an intimate level why you act, feel and think before you can claim your destiny.
You dont need magick to know yourself. But magick does make the journey much easier and lessens the pain and consequences of your actions.
This I know to be TRUE with certainty.

I just thought of a better way of putting my particular understanding of this. It is like being in a sense deprivation tank. Time and Space cease to exist as laws of physics. Thoughts begin to rise. These thoughts begin to consume you pushing you faster and faster towards insanity. You either go insane or you deal with the thoughts. The only escape is to allow the opposite thought to arise to balance out the mind. Eventually your mind clears and you start chaining your thoughts to their root. Eventually you understand why you act the way you act, why you feel the way you feel, and why your spirit cries in suffering.
Once you understand the why you realize what needs to be done in order to be a joyous, balanced individual.

Lets look at this in a rational manner. There are only 3 options in this situation. First, I am crazy. Second, I am lying, or third I am describing a genuine mystical state.
Rebuttal: I am to coherent to be confused about the difference between fantasy and reality. Therefore I am not insane.
That only leaves 2 options. I described a process in extreme detail. Therefore, if I made up my experience those who have experienced this reality will be able to instantly recognize It. However, if I am describing a valid mystical state those who also have experienced this state should be able to recognize what I am talking about.
I dont care what you decide. Just do it in a calm, rational manner;)
