    Hello all and 93.
I am extremely NEW to Thelema, but have been a practicing witch and practitioner of magick in one form or another for the past 20 years. I have a B.A. in Religious Studies and Humanities, a Dedicant Druid in ADF, practicing Buddhist, a Devotee of Hekate, Handmaiden of Hathor, and am being called to Thelema (after many years of avoiding it).
Why would anyone want to avoid this path? Well, I have steered clear of the Western traditions for so long, it just came with my avoidance. In my staying away from anything having to do with the Abrahamic traditions I missed out on Qabalah, Grimoire and High Ceremonial Magicks. After removing the blinders, I am seeing the connections are MUCH older than the Judeo-Christian ideologies, and am exploring those paths intellectually.
I look forward to starting this 'new' path for myself. I also anticipate meeting new friends with similar interests and knowledge to seek.
