Does anyone here notice a significance between having fire burning inside or outside the circle while practicing ceremonial Magick?

I feel as though if inside the circle, it has more of a direct effect upon the energy of the ritual. Outside, it feels more as if it causes my intent to echo more throughout the cosmos.

I get the feeling fellow students are misapprehending my intentions, perhaps even misreading my notion in the Subject title.

It was a play on the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, where he plays with the idea of being the "god of Hell-Fire," since my post was on the subject of the same element.
