    Could you name any?

Last night I just couldn't get into and open the eyes of my astral body. Little bit tired maybe.

Monday morning was fine, I made it to where I wanted and could see guides.

So many factors. Just off the top of my head,

      1. Anything that interferes with your ability to concentrate (big list!).
      2. The current ambient astral condition.
-- 2A. See lots of astrological factors, of which lunar phase is only one.
-- 2B. Local neighborhood psychic state (e.g., I used to life in a Santeria neighborhood, & you could really tell around their festival days)
      3. Your psychological state (related to #1 above, but a distinctive factor)
      4. Right vs. wrong working methods (if these change per occasion).
      5. Attainable vs. unattainable target (depending on what you were going for: some things are more accessible to you than others)

      Just f'rinstance.

There was a bad storm last night. I wonder.

        Thanks for list.

Proper astral projection always accompanies a "pang of pain!" as ego-self is averse to idea of not-self, from Crowley's "Notes on astral Atlas" however, are we meant to be at ease on the inner planes?

I guess one can "be at ease" yet still feel that "pang of pain"?

I never had my natal chart done. Is this necessary in terms of astrological factors or do I just need to know the positions of the planets at time of astral projection?
