No.
It can be helpful sometimes to boost the amount of prana available for material manifestation, but it isn't essential (and I recommend one have some idea what one is doing before trying it).

Blood is probably the single strongest source of raw life-essence. The quantity is greatest at the time of its initial spilling, and drops off pretty rapidly. Since I've never worked with, say, bloodbank blood (have always used my own), I can't tell you if it reaches zero.

This is not a practice suggested. Even if the entity demands it .. Do not offer anything you are not willing to give freely. And that also applies to semen etc . Its a very effective bit of currency for the Entities and something I would only do after establishing a really solid relationship with the entity in question. even then Intent and boundaries have to be explicitly outlined
