If using the banishing form of the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram is it still correct to perform the vibrations deosil?

I don't know what you mean by performing the vibrations deosil. The vibrations are done facing the drawn pentagram; that is, facing outward, not along the flow of the circle.

The sequence of four is done in a deosil direction around the circle; i.e. East, South, North, West.
Alternatively in the Star Ruby the direction is widdershins and in Part Three of Liber ABA, chapter X, II: "[spirals] can be performed in either direction; and, like circumambulation, if performed deosil they invoke--if widdershins they banish."
Also, I think a better term than correct would have been proper.

Another one of the reasons I was linking the Stars Ruby and Sapphire is the banishing vs invoking directions of their quarterly vibrations.

Why is there a banishing and an invoking form?
I had always assumed it could be used for either.

Ah, that's what you meant. The sequence of pentagrams and names is deosil.
Then your answer is yes, that's how it's normall taught.
"Alternatively in the Star Ruby the direction is widdershins"
Different formula, different ritual.

Why is deosil proper for a banishing ritual?

"Why is deosil proper for a banishing ritual?"
In the LBRP you are invoking the archangels to kind of set guard around the circle that is the reason for moving deosil. Read Crowleys comment on the LBRP on page 690 of Magick, this is much more than just a banishing ritual.

Complicated answer. LONG complicated answer.
But the two main points:
First, widdershins isn't banishing per se. There are certain contexts within which it is banishing, and some in which it is specifically invoking. But, under certain conditions, it is banishing.
Second, the LBR is much more complex than simply a banishing. It is a very rich and layered ritual. Among other things, it has a specifically invocatory quality.
