    93 Njal,

KRVB made a good suggestion, I would also say Liber Resh along with the LBRP and the practices set forth in Liber O. Anything else you might want to throw in is a plus but those are the basics I would recommend.

If you perform Resh and all of the exercises in the three libers you listed, you have plenty of tools to carry you along for awhile.

    Many thanks for your replies.

I have enough to keep my busy for quite some time, since I also have to make my weapons and form my temple.

LBRP is a good suggestion, of course!

    Thanks again,

    Njal.

    93,

    You are a smart guy.

Liber E, O, Rv are great... Add Resh as Fr.616 mentioned and perhaps Mass of the Phoenix. It is short and absurdly profound and concise. It contains a lot of ideas/formulae in just a few lines.

I've found it incredibly helpful to stand in front of a mirror and gesticulate like a madman.

Interesting thoughts about the Resh, especially considering today's date:

Where I live sunrise is currently around 04:30, sunset 21:45.
Boleskine would be more like 04:15 and 22:20.
Then you have the midnight one.

At midwinter, these times would be around 08:25 & 15:40, and 09:00 & 15:30 for Boleskine.

I'm guessing in California, for example, there would be much less variation due to the lattitude.

One of the results of practicing Resh, if you are scrupulous about observing the actual times of sunrise and sunset as these times change throughout the year and according to your location, is to keep you mindful of your place in the drama between the sun and the earth. In the same way that a ritual like the LBRP centers you in space, Resh centers you in time and space. (I haven't expressed that well, but I don't think I'm going to do any better. I hope people get it.)

"Where would you recommend I begin?"

I'd recommend hours of meditation each day, paying attention to your own mind and how it all is meant to flow/work. I was surprised that ceremony was so recommended, in other people's replies?

/agreed. IMHO, there should be balance between meditation, ceremony, and study.

Study constantly, the Book of the Law. (And the Law is for All)
    Liber 49
LBRP and Middle Pillar with correct attributions:-)
777, and/ or Godwins Qabalistic Encyclopedia
    Journal!!! (Magickal Diary)
    Liber Resh Vel Helios
LIber Qoph vel Hecate Sub Figura C
    Yoga/Meditation.
    Eventually Liber Samekh
    Aethyr Workings (Enochian)

Or, if you don't wish to follow any rigorous course, then simply do your will!

I am sure there are a lot of different responses to your question... Just found it kind of vague, but worth throwing in some suggestions:-)

    Thelema

This is a very helpful post! What I would like to ask more is where to start with Enochian? What books would you recommend for beginners?
