Where to begin practice?

I've found it incredibly helpful to stand in front of a mirror and gesticulate like a madman.

Interesting thoughts about the Resh, especially considering today's date:
Where I live sunrise is currently around 04:30, sunset 21:45.
Boleskine would be more like 04:15 and 22:20.
Then you have the midnight one.At midwinter, these times would be around 08:25 & 15:40, and 09:00 & 15:30 for Boleskine.
I'm guessing in California, for example, there would be much less variation due to the lattitude.

One of the results of practicing Resh, if you are scrupulous about observing the actual times of sunrise and sunset as these times change throughout the year and according to your location, is to keep you mindful of your place in the drama between the sun and the earth. In the same way that a ritual like the LBRP centers you in space, Resh centers you in time and space. (I haven't expressed that well, but I don't think I'm going to do any better. I hope people get it.)

"Where would you recommend I begin?"I'd recommend hours of meditation each day, paying attention to your own mind and how it all is meant to flow/work. I was surprised that ceremony was so recommended, in other people's replies?"
/agreed. IMHO, there should be balance between meditation, ceremony, and study.
