    Sepher Sephiroth has the following entry under number 42:

    @Sepher Sephiroth said

    The number of the letters of a great
    name of GOD terrible and strong,
    and of the Assessors of the Dead

    There's no hebrew entry to go with it. Does anyone know what this means?

      "It is Tetragrammaton with the masculine consonants spelled out, i.e. instead of YHVH, it is Yod H Vau H.

      It is also Yod Heh Vau, but missing the final daughter Heh.

      We can gather why, one (nay, both) of these may be considered "Great" yet "..terrible and strong."."

      Thanks.

        I wonder if this instead refers to the 42-lettered name of God given in the Zohar: ABGIThTz QROShTN NGDIKSh BTRTzThG ChQBTNO IGLPZQ ShQVTzITh

        The first useful Google hit on this name is here, but there are others. The 42 assessors of the dead are from the Egyptian Book of the Dead.
