I'm isolating the one thing I said I'd take time to work out here for you. For the rest... you're really asking to be taught the proper method to approach pheomenological ceremonial magick from the ground up. That's far beyond a forum such as this.
So I'll limit myself to the question: How does one invoke the 21st Path [that's what you meant] of Kaph to the plane of Assiah.
There are many other stages (before and after) for the overall working (in terms of preparatin and other preliminaries, and also with the formulation of a valid magical link and its deployment); but here is a way to perform the specific step of invoking this force (in the context of the rest of this thread thus far): Perform the greater invoking hexagram ritual of Jupiter, employing at each quarter the Divine Name El, the Archangel Tzadkiel, and A.R.A.R.I.T.A. Then, form the fifth invoking Jupiter hexagram (all traced in yellow light on a violet background), use El and Tzadkiel as before, but also the Angel of Jupiter, Sakhiel, and the Assiah name Tzedeq. (You probably don't need to follow the Angel's name with those of the Intelligence and Spirit of Jupiter unless you have a special purpose for that. Under some circumstances you might, for this type of operation, descend all the way into the Q'lippothic realms, but I would strongly discourage it at your present level of skill and experience.)

The former; except, in a casual conversation, "nobody" isn't an absolute. Obviously one can do this, but it takes an exceptional effort and athletic training

The direction where the planet is located in the actual sky at that exact moment.

Ok, that explains a lot. I've read conflicting instructions that say draw the planetary hexagram in the four quarters OR face the direction of the sky where the planet is located and draw a single hexagram. See for example:

Now, heres the part that Jim pointed out.. which i found to be right on.

To that effect. I know Crowley was linking the working in a Thoth like manner, but you can get an essence of how the planetary invocations work..

With making the 5 hexagrams as Jim Said, I've seen an OTO lodge in the midwest do the following:
- Basic Rituals
You will be using the Greater Invoking Ritual of the Hexagram for Jupiter. The ritual should be performed on a the day of Jupiter (Thursday) during the hour of Jupiter if possible.
- Preparing the Temple
As with a love spell, you do not need a containment structure so the circle alone will suffice. It should be blue, and you can also trace a square within it in purple. If you are casting the spell with some idea of what your source of funds will be, carry on your person a magical link that represents that source. For example, if the goal is a higher-paying job carry a copy of your resume and make sure that it matches any resumes you will sending to prospective employers. If you really have no idea, then just center the spell on yourself and don't use a link.
I. Opening and II. The Preliminary Invocation
These are the same as in the other two rituals.
III. The Conjuration
Perform the Greater Invoking Ritual of the Hexagram for Jupiter. As you conclude with "Let the divine light descend!", visualize a column of purple light descending into the circle and enveloping you. You then begin to conjure the Spirit of Jupiter. Vibrate the capitalized words. Four is the number of Jupiter, so the names are vibrated four times.
EL, EL, EL, EL (like it looks). Come unto me, God in CHESED (kheh-SED), the sphere of TZEDEQ (tzeh-DEK). Send unto me TZADKIEL(tzahd-kee-EL), that great Archangel of thine, that he may answer my behest.
Pause until the presence of El is perceived. If you don't feel anything or see anything, wait three minutes or so before continuing.
TZADKIEL, TZADKIEL, TZADKIEL, TZADKIEL (tzahd-kee-EL). Come unto me, great and mighty Archangel of CHESED (kheh-SED), the sphere of TZEDEQ (tzeh-DEK), by the name of the great god EL. Send unto me JOPHIEL (joh-fee-EL), that great intelligence of thine, that he may answer my behest.
Pause until the presence of Tzadkiel is perceived. If you don't feel anything or see anything, wait three minutes or so before continuing.
JOPHIEL, JOPHIEL, JOPHIEL, JOPHIEL (joh-fee-EL). Come unto me, thou bright intelligence of TZEDEQ (tzeh-DEK), and answer my behest. In the name of TZADKIEL (tzahd-kee-EL) thy lord, compel the spirit HISMAEL (his-may-EL) who is under thy dominion to manifest within this Circle of Art.
Pause until the presence of Jophiel is perceived. If you don't feel anything or see anything, wait three minutes or so before continuing.
HISMAEL, HISMAEL, HISMAEL, HISMAEL (his-may-EL). Come unto me, mighty spirit of TZEDEQ (tzeh-DEK), and make manifest my behest. In the name of JOPHIEL (joh-fee-EL) thy lord, come forth within this Circle of Art that thou mayst wield the powers of the path of KAPH(KAHF), the path of the planet Jupiter.
Pause until the presence of Hismael is perceived. If you don't feel anything or see anything, wait three minutes or so before continuing.
At this point you deliver the charge to the spirit. Address it to Hismael. This is what you want the spirit to do. You need to write this part yourself, because it's very personal. You should state what you want simply so that the spirit can't twist your words around. With a money spell it is good to keep in mind that a lot of people have family members with assets and things like life insurance so that a tragedy like a death in the family could result in riches. It is usually wise to craft the charge so that the spirit is bound to act without causing bodily harm to yourself or others. After all, it would also be a pretty bad outcome to be permanently disabled in a car accident but wind up with a million dollar lawsuit settlement - but you would have your money.
After the charge, pause for a moment before closing the temple.
IV. Closing
The License to Depart should be revised as follows.
O thou EL and thy ministers TZADKIEL (tzahd-kee-EL), JOPHIEL (joh-fee-EL), and HISMAEL (his-may-EL), because thou hast diligently answered unto my demands, and hast been very ready and willing to come at my call, I do here license thee to depart unto thy proper place; without causing harm or danger unto man or beast. I charge thee to withdraw peaceably and quietly, and peace be ever continued between us. So mote it be!
Pause for a moment to give the spirits time to depart. Visualize the purple light being absorbed into yourself.
The rest of the Closing is the same. You're done.

I don't think "of course" at all.
These rituals are a little excessive for my taste, but not much. (Crowley, being at root a poet, did want to write this partially as a literary piece and to use the power of rhyming and rhythmic patterns for his invocations.) But, in any case, I don't consider these necessarily excessive for a major working.

Very helpful content and references Kingsolomon. The Equinox references are nice because I like to use the books rather than internet for this kind of material if I can, but it helps to know where to look. Mostly ATM I just want to experience the energies and get better at the rituals (hopefully the correct ones) rather than ask spirits for stuff, although sometimes familiars come calling anyway. Its like a nice clean 'sober high', each planet different in its content and arrival. I suspect one could get addicted to it...

Reading the above OTO ritual, I note they bid the Jupiter Spirit license to depart after stating their request. Is this necessary? Should one always banish the invoked energy within the same operation or let it be and end the ceremony with the LBRP?

[Ed: Woops -- I misread Sakhiel for what I expected to see there, so leaving this even though it's already been answered properly above, and even though mine has more info than was requested.]
You'll find the Names, along row 4, in col. V, XCIX, C, and VI. Col. V is in Hebrew only, without transliteration, so you would need to be able to read Hebrew writing. I don't remember if 776 1/2 includes a transliteration of that column – probably it does. On that note, I might add that the value of 776 1/2 came into sharp focus when I was looking through 777 for your answer – in 776 1/2 those particular heavily-used columns are much easier to find, and if memory serves aren't chopped up as in 777 between Spheres and Paths.

The 21st Path is Kaph is Jupiter. The 4th Path could have been used, which is 4 is Jupiter. You'd make a determination on whether to work the Path or Sephirah depending on the specifics of the aim of the ceremony. Practically (and off-hand), I'm not sure there'd be any difference. It raises some questions in my mind about the subjectivity of the Paths and the objectivity of the Sephiroth, and their application as such in ritual, but I'll set that aside for later.

Yes.

The main pitfall in some cases might be to perform the ritual successfully, thereby stirring energies without any foundation from which to direct their resettling.

It never hurts to offer a license to depart, and is probably a good idea in most cases. The latter question is, again, dependent on the aims of the ceremony. Usually you'd banish after with the same (banishing) operation, and probably should do a LBRP at the end for good measure.

In the past, I definitely and inadvertently stirred up a tempest on the collective level using Liber O - the effects of which I am still experiencing 2 years later (people around me were far more disturbed than me). And I do not consider myself a magician or adept. So I see no reason why something should not happen.
Do you have any recommendations for a regime to build up the required foundation to direct the invoked energy toward my goal? Something that can be done daily for 1 - 2 weeks prior to the operation?

Qabalistically, there is no Jupiter separate from it's presence on the Tree of Life. That is, if it's a Jupiter expression, it's either a Chesed idea or a Kaph idea.

Suppose one consecrates a sigil or talisman, which is a precise symbolic representation of the will of the operator, prior to the invocation, in a separate operation. Then at this point in the ritual, the Magician accumulates the energy in his Body of Light, and directs it toward the sigil, maybe by tracing it with the dagger or finger, so that the energy flows from the operator into the sigil. The sigil being the first part of the link, the concentrated will and consecrated symbol, and the planetary energy being the distribution part of the link, to set it's current in motion. To me it seems the sigil might have better aim and less likely of dissipation or ambiguous or unexpected results than words. Of course the will, sigil, and planetary energy would need to created/selected with the correct correspondences for the work. In the event a spirit is evoked, it could rather be told to charge the sigil with the planetary energy, I would expect it would know what to do from there. Another experiment to try perhaps.
Another idea while learning the rituals is, why not ask the spirits if it was done right? They should be able to tell precisely and instruct the operator. This at the very least, as there are other great secrets they will tell that are not written in any books or internets.
