Srrange tarot cards?
-
I just saw some unusual tarot cards. The cards were large, and divided into several sections. In the top right corner was a letter of the alphabet. In the top left corner was a regular playing card. Between these was a constellation. In the center below the top section, was a scene in a medieval style. Below this, at the bottom were three sections, the center having a plant, probably an herb, then a medieval style figure on either side.
I saw these in an artist's installation, behind a window, no way to ask about what this deck is called. Anyone know of it? I'd never seen one quite like it.
Thank you,

You can buy the modern version (top picture above) here:
www.esoterikshopping.de/products/Kartenlegen-Tarot-Lenormand-Wahrsagekarten-Engelkarten/Lenormandkarten-Lenormand-Wahrsagekarten/Lenormandkarten-Grand-Jeu-de-Mlle-Lenormand.htmlIf you find any reproductions of the antique ones (2nd picture above) then let me know, cause they do look rather dashing.
Though, these aren't Tarot in the strict sense of the word, the Grand Jeu pack containing only 54 cards, an article about it here:

Seems they come from Europe. I can't find a source in the USA. The link you posted is in German, I admit I am shy to buy from a site I don't understand the language.... hmmmm I will think about it.....
Thank you

(I just picked up a pack off the 2nd link with no problems - seems a curiously interesting set of cards, UK supplier)
