" So any tips on making those blurs come to life? with bright color? "I find that some good acid is a rather convenient way of seeing all sorts of colors. But then you gotta come down, man, and that's, like, a bummer.
I think Crowley touches on the subject in Liber 2.0, where he discusses the topic of "How to See Pentagrams in Technicolor for Beginners."
Seriously, it's a matter of intent. Envision the colors. Feel the colors. Become the colors."
I'm not sure about "becoming color" lol, I'm not sure how to go about that. But I will check out Liber 2.0, sounds very interesting, "Technicolor", weird word. I will admit, I thought I would have gotten more responses with some various who knows what tips on this subject. But intent has to do with will right? Or its another word for will?

there's no such a Liber
my own 'trick' for making the colors alive is to feel them, rather than 'think' of them - to 'receive' the color, so to say, not to construct it by 'force' (although while doing this, I am fully aware that it's me constructing it).
I guess this is a feminine kind of magick -

"JPF, could you post a link to that? I tried google and got nothing."Strange...
Well, this should suffice: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCxu3tkT6xY
(A few of my elementary notes on the subject.)
Pardon my foolishness. "

"Are you the dude talkin in the vid?"No, but if that isn't the most entertaining advice I've ever seen on the LBRP, I'll be damned!
Seeing pentagrams yet?"
no not quite, yet! answays... gotta stay positive. But I realy couldnt make out what he was doing. Mabye I should watch it again tomarrow since I should have time. But I try to see the energy of the pentagram moving that way but it hurts my head lol.

Heh. That is exactly how the nuns taught me to draw a star in 1st grade.

Just a 1 cent contribution...I find that the lighting in the room can help immensely in seeing the traced figures. Just out of curiosity...what, in your opinion, is the importance of seeing the pentagrams more vividly?
Anyway, experiment with it and let us know if anything helps.

Exactly - and not just for optical reasons. Lighting conditions affect brain chemistry and neurology. The amount of lighting varies (roughly) directly with how much forebrain activity is balanced against hindbrain activity. From this one simple fact, quite a lot of technology spills out.

Jim, would you recommend more or less lighting for something like the Lesser Pentagram Rituals?
I've found that having one light on behind me is helpful, along with the white noise provided by my AC, although having a light anywhere near the East is distracting when I close my eyes.

Especially whle learning, avoid fully bright light. Go with about half-lighting.
