Zodiacal correspondence/use in ritual:
-
W/in my personal practice I use my natal rising sign (i.e., geocentric) as I build my astral temple when I ascend to 2=9. My reasoning is that, I am striving to correctly center my temple w/in the heavens.W/in Crowley's framework this would of course be reversed (i.e., heliocentricly). The G.D. assigns the Zodiac to 2=9 and I am wondering if this is a valid use of this or if I am misunderstanding the principle?
Any advice would b/appreciated, thanks.---

I think you may need to elaborate on certain points so that we can better understand the question:
For instance: what do you mean by rise to the 2=9? Do you mean rising to Yesod?
What Zodiacal Sign are you referring to?
If you are referring to Crowley's Schema, then to which version of which ritual are you referencing?
It sounds interesting but your question needs to be less obscure.

"The G.D. assigns the Zodiac to 2=9"
Huh? Where? In what sense do you mean.
The zodiac corresponds to Chokmah. Therefore, it could be considered a 9=2 assignment. I'm not aware of any 2=9 correspondence (e.g., it isn't present in the 2=9 ceremony beyond the broad presence of the Kerubic figures for the elements).

Sorry, that I was not quite clear w/this. I am a bit shy about getting crazy answers from some. Yes I am reffering to
9=2; however, my personal use of this is w/in rising to Chokmah and Chokmah being corresponded to the Zodiac (i.e., G.D. wise). I am speaking of rising through the planets (i.e., using the tree of life) and once at Chokmah I imagine my circle being cast Widdershins as the houses w/in the Zodiac 1-12 start below the horizon and run backward (i.e., schematic wise). I have just used this as my own adaptation before drawing down Kether for the Quabalistic Cross. I'm just curious if it is valid reasoning for doing so?thanks for answering-------

Further-
Cancer being my rising as well as Sun sign and the rest of the signs positioned from there. -
I was saying that the G.D. assigns the Zodiac to 2=9 (i.e., Chokmah) in the 1st knowledge lecture of Regardie's
The G.D. Sorry. Hope I am a bit clearer here. I appologize if I am w/out understanding & this is a un-initiated question but I have been practicing magick for several years but havn't the experience of actual temple work (i.e., Group setting, etc. ) as there isn't one anywhere near me. So I am left to practice totally on me own. I would love advice on actual temple work. I read a good bit of stuff (Duquette, etc.) and practice the best I can. I know that true initiation is a personal thing but I haven't the option of actual temple work. -

Think of it this way: we don't live on the sun. Use geocentric.

Thanks for the comment. I know that we dont live there, however, was just speculating whether I should try and visualize the relative position correctly if I was to correctly position my Astral temple in this way.

As I understand it, Crowley's heliocentric POV only becomes a factor at some higher levels? Always had a vague interest in this: will do some research on the topic. Thanks for provoking me.

Thanks for the comment. I am using this maybe a bit out of context (however, I think no.) . This is what Crowley wanted for each of us w/out negating the "mundane" &/or relative position of our space in this life. Quoted from :ThIShARB, Liber Viae Memoriae: ("So to enable the Aspirant to calculate his True Orbit in eternity.") Short quote I know. But this is the largest "raison de atair" for me wanting to trully understand this here!
thanks for all.........

about the Zodiac itself, maybe you would be interested to consider this:

Holy cazzzzzzzzzoooooooooo!!!
What?? I have done a bit of research here but had no clue this was as is!
Briefly, "The Sidereal zodiac — the same zodiac that was used from astrology’s dawn — exists objectively, has demonstrable empirical and statistical validity, and is the only legitimate zodiac existing in Nature."I should go a good bit further here w/what they are saying w/this, but, I am on a trail here now. Please give me more time for further research for my response/agreement. This does bring up some quite relevant insight to my question..........
Thanks.....

I should point out that the essay she linked to is an appendix to my new book Visions & Voices, due out in January. The book gives timed horoscopes (in both the Triopical and Sidereal zodiacs) for each of the 33 separate visions Crowley undertook for which date, time, and place were recorded. The conclusion... well, the visions kinda speak for themselves, but... in two-thirds of the cases, the Sidereal Moon sign alone was enough to substantially determine the direction and flow of the visions.

Sorry for not b/ing frank & open here (i.e., I know that we all deal w/parental/sybling & otherwise projections from many & varied sources). I am currently & have been striving to deal w/me own "Nodes" and Pluto transits for some time and realize the significance on an objective plane; however, I need insight w/in me own realm (i.e., "Subjectively" speaking) & know that Crowley has my answer for dealing w/such. I think that the AbUldIZ working can and has worked wonders already for me in the past few yrs. but 1 has to b/carefull. This isn't all that I work w/but have many visions that I am incapable of dealing w/w/in my own journey @ the present for such.
What do I do???

yes, but there are steps on that road: Man of the Earth ('geocentric' )--> Lover (heliocentric) --> Hermit (astri-centric, starry consciousness, Nuit..)
